从小就热爱旅游、喜欢开拓视野的我也算是游遍了祖国的大江南北，各名牌大学也基本都参观过，而且还在去年先后参加了清华大学的冬令营和同济、复旦大学的夏令营，但在众多高校中，唯有自由、开放、享有“东方mit”美誉的上海交通大学深深吸引了我，而且我也听到上海交大的学长陈蕾介绍说，上海交大十分适合那些“有想法”的人，只要你有想法，上海交大都会尽全力帮你实现。

我觉得我就是那种有想法、有创新意识的人，这也使我更加坚定了“将来必须要到上海交大读书”的决心。凭借着十几年如一日的努力，我的成绩一向名列前茅，中考更是以全市第二十八的成绩考入铁岭市重点高中理科实验班。到了高中，我并没有骄傲，而是更加努力的学习，成绩也有了进一步的飞跃，每次考试成绩均稳定在年级前十名，发挥好时还会进入前五名，我坚信自己是有资格进入上海交通大学的。

做事果断，善于规划是我的另一优点。说到规划，我对自己的未来也已经做好了初步的打算：近年来，随着中国经济的腾飞，汽车已经走入了寻常百姓家。由于汽车工业的进步，这方面人才的需求量也在随之增长。这对从小酷爱汽车，7岁就能识别数十种车标的我，无疑是一种巨大的激励，我也励志将来要进入一家汽车公司，参与设计制造一部性能优异，而且安全节能的汽车。据我所知，现今中国汽车在发动机的节油耐用，稳定性能上仍有必须的提高空间，而伴随着油价的上涨，增压直喷等技术也已走下神坛，进入乘用领域。在车身结构方面，人们对于安全舒适的追求是无止境的，所以有了碰撞吸能设计，有了更优秀的悬架，有了铝材，甚至碳纤维的应用。

我愿把我全部的精力都投入到这些领域中，让中国的汽车有朝一日也能展示在世界的大舞台上。这一切看似虚幻的梦想，一旦进入上海交大，就都很有可能变为现实。众所周知，上海交大的机械工程及自动化、车辆工程等专业都是当前国内最一流的。除此之外，贵校的密歇根学院不仅仅包含机械类专业，而且如果前两年在校成绩突出，还能出国到密歇根大学继续深造，学习国外先进的理念，这些都十分有助于实现我远大的理想。我保证，如果我能进入上海交通大学，必须会本着“饮水思源，爱国荣校”的校训努力学习机械方面的专业知识，培养各方面的综合素质，成为像江泽民、汪道涵、钱学森、吴文俊、茅以升那样的上海交通大学的骄傲。

大一学生需要重读

对于大一在读的学生来说，中国学生学习的大多是马克思主义哲学、英语等基础课程，由于教育体制的不同，美国大学一般不承认这些学分，为此如果想要转入美国高校学习，就要做好从大一开始重读的准备。

大二学生选好专业

而对于大二在读的学生来说，有些课程数学部分美国高校给予承认，为此学生申请时最好选择原先就读的专业相吻合或接近的，重修的课程就会少一些，学起来也相对轻松一些。而在转学分的过程中，学生也该注意由于中美对专业课程教育的要求和侧重点不同，专业性不是很强的课程转学分会相对容易一些，但是你必须提供详细的课程描述，还要参考你的课程分数;但像建筑、生物、工程学、心理学等这些专业性强的学分就比较难转了。同时注意，转了学分后申请美国大学的奖学金几率也会小一些。

高年级生最好念硕士

国内大三或大四在读学生，一般不建议通过转学分的方式去美国念本科，最好是等念完本科以后再出国读硕士。因为签证时签证官会质疑你的留学目的和动机，在大多数签证官看来，在中国读完本科再申请美国的硕士课程比较适合这个阶段学生的发展。

研究生选专业时做好就业准备

一般在美国念完硕士找到相应的工作，就可以申请1年或以上不等的工作签证，工作一定年限后就可以申请永久居留或者移民，为此想毕业后留在美国工作或生活的学生在申请专业之初就可以选择护理、数学、电子工程和电机等一些有利于居留或移民的专业。

naturally awaken association with the exquisite and beautiful chinaware made in

China, the country that enjoys a history of porcelain production one thousand

years earlier than other countries and a reputation for her elevated art and

remarkable craftsmanship. European people attempted at any cost to acquire the

technology of porcelain making and at last achieved the satisfaction of this

goal from a priest named Francois-Xavier D’Entrecolles, thus the present variety

and brilliance of chinaware in both China and the West. Nevertheless, in an era

of electronics and information today, China has fell far behind the advanced

countries in the field of information materials science and engineering, in its

research and application as well. As a graduate majored in physics and

technology of electronic thin films, I am eager to trace the footprints of

Francois-Xavier D’Entrecolles so as to bring the advanced technology of material

engineering to China by means of studying in your prestigious university for

Ph.D. program in the area of material engineering, realizing my dream of being a

in possible experimental work and research work, cultivate my skills in the use,

maintenance, and modification of vacuum-evaporation equipment and pulse-laser-

modulation rate of the BST voltage controlled thin film variable capacitor I

produced reaches the level of 80%, approximate to the highest level in record so

far.

My achievement was highly appreciated by relevant scholars and specialists

and I have been invited to participate in various programs experiments. As a

result of my persistent effort, I have published “BST Voltage Controlled

Microwave Electronic Components” and “STO Pulse-Laser-Deposition Growth of Thin

Film” respectively on such kernel academic journals as _ in China, the former

article being praised by relevant specialists as “assuming the function of

guidance to the application research on BST thin film in China.”

Based upon the confidence of my theoretical background and research

capacity, I chose the topic “Production of High-frequency Composite” for my

Bachelor’s thesis. On the basis of extensive collection and absorbing of the

recent information on magnetic materials and components, I decided to do my

research on the project of compounding Co2Z material by applying Y2O3 and Sr2+

and adopting pre-processing technology, in addition to the control of working

procedure and temperature point. In consequence, the improvement of magnetic

property of the material. In the oral defense of my thesis, the present

specialists concluded that the research, measuring high academic significance,

was novel in topic selection, logical in argument, and creative in idea. My

Bachelor’s thesis was chosen as “Excellent Thesis” of the university through

critical assessment.

At present, I am busy with my Master’s thesis “Au/BST/YBCO Ferro-electro

Thin Film Voltage Controlled Components.” There exists a great difference

between China and Western countries in experimental conditions with regard to

BST thin film materials and we cannot produce desirable microwave components

with available references nowadays. But the RMS on the surface of the BST thin

film I designed and produced is of merely several angstroms , the modulation

rate 80%, and the power loss 4‰, which satisfies the need of microwave component

production. This achievement is at forefront in China at present.

During this period of study and research, I have deeply felt that my

country falls far behind the advanced countries in the area of materials science

and an intense need to study the advanced theories and technology in the fullest

enforced academic institute. Thus I select University of _ where I believe I

can realize my dream. In addition to the unparalleled strength in the area of

Where the line of normalcy is shaped differently in the eyes of artists, as

everything is relative, there exists the freedom that only artists can create –

the space, colour and texture on which that line of normalcy lies, in order to

make it one at all.

To extent my egomania is an honest tool of my style, it is in need of

elaboration and solidifying within the disciplines and professionalisms in

studying art at college.

As an AS Psychology student, I learnt that the perception of stress is

relative “ where I find the paranoia of my reality stressful, it is much of my

escape that I share with many others to spend time doing Art & Design

(currently at A2) in free-periods and after school to produce more research,

drawings, developed experiments and final pieces, from my C at GCSE to an A for

AS. I am also predicted an A for A2. This drive came from a particular

experience, which I'd rather not speak of.

More relevantly, I am experienced in etching and print-press, collagraph,

photography, life sketches, multi-media and Photoshop. I have used a range of

materials in previous artworks: works on canvas, and acrylic, installations,

multi-media works and film editing, of which I am able to use iMovie and

Cyberlink Power Director and have competent use of, as I take a personal

interest in film-making.

I have also voluntarily produced and edited advertisement films for 2

competing business studies classes where I was able to help creatively and

equally, providing that it was their own equipment and concept.

In studying English (Lit./Lang.) the analytical aspects have helped aquired

the appropriate information behind concept. As an aspiring poet, I have

contributed poems of my own to the school’s English Literature Magazine (of

students works) and have written for the 6th Form monthly Newsletter, ‘Rant N

Rave, for which I have written poetry and articles. I have also dispersed these

creative energies in Music Technology. At the Dubai 92.0 FM Radio Station, I was

able to take a glimpse into the radio industry, as well as accompany the

radio-jockey ‘Catboy’ on air. As there were 2 other students, we organized play

lists; part of the job was to understand the business aspect of airtime. In May

07, I was given the opportunity to work-shadow a General Planning Manager,

involving the planning of layouts and structures of building shopping malls for

Majid Al Futtaim, Dubai. This helped me realize the importance of relation

between physical demands of construction and planning.

I have obtained certificates and commendation letters, project

certificates, best advertisement for Shakespeare’s 12 Night Play (playing one of

the main characters roles as 'Maria'), intermediate snowboarding, skiing, and

have achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze.

As I have lived in and travelled countries from Malaysia to Switzerland,

France to Saudi Arabia, I have more cause to find a universal message that not

only makes us appreciate diversity, but unifies us as human beings. From a

Marxist perspective, I deliberately refuse to accept the pyramid of our society.

This is simply one constant idea and philosophy that even disturbs my sleep.

Fully aware of the competition that goes on in the media industry, with my

competitive and somewhat cynical characteristic; I am able to critically

self-evaluate which forces me to better myself constantly improving my skills

and techniques, adhering to the business aspects as well. Taking first year

studies or foundation art would help me explore more skill which I am capable in

a more professional and disciplined manner as well as improve specified research

work.

My aspirations are based on my persistency, enabling me to work adaptively

in the art business. I may work towards the Visual Communication, Painting,

Intermedia art or Illustration, not sufficed to say the least, and followed

entry into Second Year Studies to define my Specialism.

frozen with snow.” These are the lines I recite to myself, whenever I formulate

a major objective in my life. Cherishing the desire to fully realize my

self-fulfillment, I have always hoped that my life will consist of materializing

a succession of aspirations and ideals.

Our dreams are the impetus that drives us to make progress. If we liken

ourselves to planes, our dreams are the maintenance and fuel that drive us

forward to reach our goals. Some planes may never have flied, while others may

have landed in many places. It all depends on their goals and jet fuel

supplement. Therefore, it is of great importance to set goals in life first and

then find the best place to replenish enough fuel supplements.

Proud of having more English learners than any other country in the world,

China has a more demand for English experts since its entry into the WTO. As an

English teacher who has worked in this field for over three years, I have a

clear vision of the future of English teaching in China, and I am determined to

scale a higher height in English in a more advanced country which is rich in jet

fuel. I am ready to take off.

During my undergraduate study, I majored in Marketing, and benefited a lot

from the multicultural environment at Beijing International Studies University,

where I was able to excel both academically and personally. Our school attaches

great importance to cultivating students in a practical way. We were required

not only to lay a solid foundation in our major coursework, but also to have a

good command of English so as to meet the demands of society. Within such a

nourishing atmosphere, I developed myself in a comprehensive way. Apart from my

major coursework study, I nurtured my gift for English and spent most of my

spare time teaching English to others. I worked as a part-time English teacher

at Li Yang Crazy English training school and as an English tutor to middle

school students and adults. My interest and ability in English grew in this

process.

I was recruited by Beijing Bayi Middle School to teach English after my

graduation. In order to enrich my experience,I studied by myself the educational

psychology in my spare time. I also did some research work comparing American

and Chinese education. I found that Chinese students and teachers are superior

to the Americans in knowledge accumulation, but we are inferior to Americans in

potential, because the American teachers have been exerting significant

importance on the students’ psychology while nearly 2/3 Chinese teachers are

poor in this aspect. Realizing such a problem in Chinese way of teaching, I have

perfected my teaching in daily life. For example, I often praised my students in

class no matter how simple the questions were; I adopted the “portfolio system

“in class especially for those from poor families or single-parent families to

“talk” with them in a more informal way; I encouraged the students who lagged

behind with the method of “yes-right hand and no-left hand” that is, if he or

she knew the answer, then they put his or her right hand up, vice verse…To my

delight, my endeavor paid in the end : nearly all of my students gradually

became more confident and like English more and more. Through the familiarity

with my students, I also gradually realized that an English teacher is more like

a helper to deliver the kernel of Western culture to cultivate the students’

characteristics than a person just imparting the knowledge.

In 2005, I helped to found the “Chinese University Alliance Education

University of China. We are eager to help those students who have passion in

learning English while lack in methods. Besides teaching the students, I also

did some training work to the new employees, introducing them how to lead-in,

how to make the boring grammar more vivid, how to make the students more

interested in the class by using the PPT and real materials.

However, there are still things that make me confused. In China, parents

treat their children’s education very seriously. In recent years, with China’s

rapid development and the trend of globalization, parents have put more emphasis

on their children’s education in English - the universal language. Children are

exposed to English on the day they start kindergarten. Some poorer parents even

lead a bitter life to save money so that their children can attend an English

training program after class. However, such “English fever”, to some extent,

speeds up polarization of students’ English level, and more seriously, many

students’ “hate” English from a young age.

So, How to deal with this problem? I have been asking myself this question,

and have found the answer in myself. What I have mastered is far from enough for

me to figure out the best way to teach English. In addition, I think that I need

to improve myself in a comprehensive manner, not only in academic field but also

in personality. As we know, teachers are called the engineer of people’s soul.

So they must cultivate themselves both morally and professionally. With a

devoted heart to English education, I am determined to quit my present job and

add some jet fuel so that I can fly higher and further and finally land at my

designated destination.

As we know, the United States enjoys a high reputation in the theoretical

research and practice of TESOL. In my future study, I intend to learn the theory

of TESOL and English teaching methodology, i.e. how a teacher deals with the

problems found in the students and helps them achieve good study results.

Moreover, my study in your esteemed university will get me further acquainted

with the language and culture, communicate with the native-speakers and improve

my English ability in a comprehensive manner.

After finishing my Master’s program, I intend to continue my English

teaching at a top university in China, to contribute what I have learned to

Presently, I work at a leading Beijing-based center of telecommunications research and development, jointly run by Canada's Northern Telecom Ltd., one of the world's foremost IT enterprises, and the Beijing University of Yanjiu, a major higher-learning institution in IT technologies in China. Engaged in cutting-edge research and development at this center, I have accumulated a lot of advanced knowledge and expertise in IT technologies in a relatively short time.

I obtained this coveted position at such a respected international establishment on the strength of my research experience at the North China Institute of Computing Technologies, the country's oldest research organization in computer science. Exercising my diligence and creativity, I specialized in automation research and development in this institute, which not only gave me the opportunity to make full use of what I had learned at the university but also spurred me to constantly improve myself. I taught myself Computer Control Technology, Contemporary Control Theory, Electrical control Technology and Process Control & Automation Device, among other subjects.

Because of my strong skills in both hardware and software, I was appointed in 1995 the leader of a team to design the computer control system "Distributed Control System (DCS)". Under my effective leadership, the team completed design of the system structure, development of the modules, and programming of the software, and system debugging all in less than one year. A real-time computer control system, it can be combined with 2048 channels. For this project, I independently designed the kernels-CPU module, two other modules and the I/O interface software. The system is now a leading product in China's automation industry.

My research successes were built upon my solid undergraduate training at Tsinghua University, widely considered China's best engineering school. Between 1989 and 1994, I studied at Tsinghua as a major of electronic engineering, concentrating on basic courses as well as courses of my major. These courses solidly grounded me in theories of telecommunications and endowed me with all-round expertise in both software and hardware engineering. At the time of my graduation, my overall GPA ranked me among the top 10% of about 200 students in my grade.

Taking advantage of Tsinghua's emphasis on hands-on experience, I did a lot of lab work in my undergraduate studies. In my third year, I joined the university's Laboratory of Information Systems. In the lab I successfully designed the "2Mb/s PCM Digital Interface (32 frames)" used in the analogue PBX (Private Branch Exchange). In 1993, I independently designed a "Speech Signal Processing Card" used in the SUN SPARC station. This successful development of this card ended the situation in which the SUN SPARC station could not be used for speech processing and other multimedia applications. In the course of these projects, I became versed in hardware structure of the RISC computer, UNIX operating system and programming. All this laid a firm foundation for my career advancement.

My academic standing was so strong that I was offered acceptance into Tsinghua's graduate school without the normally mandatory admission exams. That was a privilege available to only the very best of each crop of graduating students. But I declined the offer, figuring that I should gain challenging research experience behind me, I think the time has come for me to not only undertake graduate studies but also undertake graduate studies in a quality program in the United States.

Ideally, I would like to enter into a Master's program that would lead me into Ph. D. studies later on. In such a program, I would like to focus my studies on one or a combination of the following areas: Control Systems, Communications Engineering, Digital Signal and Image Processing, or Microcomputer Applications. I will bring to the program a professional background significantly enrich my knowledge, enhance my expertise, and sharpen my research skills. 我的学生马宁，又高又瘦的个子，高高的鼻梁上架着一副学士眼镜，稚气未干的娃娃脸上总是挂着一丝难以褪去的疲倦。这是他给我的第一印象。

家教的第一天，我给他讲解期末试卷。他的试卷字迹潦草，不论是英文还是汉字，由字识人，我想他在学习上一定很随意，对自己要求不严格。在讲解过程中，我发现他听讲时很疲倦，不时地打呵欠。我开始意识到：现在的首要任务不是讲课，而是帮助他端正学习态度。

第二天，我给他上了一堂思想教育课，向他阐明了学生的职责和学习的目的，他似懂非懂，时而点头表示同意。此后，我会一边辅导他学习，一边帮助他端正学习态度。他的听课状态慢慢有了改观，我为之而感到欣喜万分。

寒假社会实践报告：公交售票员

实践前——思考

20xx年1月5日，从学校放假回家。

经过几天的休整，当刚回到家里时的兴奋与惬意渐渐淡去，我回想了一这半年的学习生活，虽然在学校里的生活平静而快乐，可我看不到了“危机”——就业危机。在大学这个相对自由的天地里，同学们都在努力的通过各种机会来磨砺和充实自己，希望能够多学一些东西对自己将来走上社会能够有所帮助，然而大学只是一个沟通校园与社会的桥梁，是我们步入社会前继续充实自己的知识的“深加工厂”。最终我们还是要面临社会和市场无情的竞争和淘汰，仅仅依靠校园里的知识是不够的。于是，我开始思考，怎样才能让自己在寒假这个短暂的时间里学到校园里学不到的东西，从而度过一个有意义的寒假。

实践中——活动

当我把打工的这个想法告诉了爸妈时，他们是非常的赞成。并不断的给我提出意见，我选中了当公交车上的售票员。在这个高速发展的社会中有些地方的公交车上是不用售票员的，但是我们那个地方(潜江)公交车上还是有售票员。任何一个地方的人去都要参加面试，可是我却没有我是走后门进去的，这也在我以后的工作中埋下了隐患。我减掉了别人那种紧张的场面，直接晋级。我开始以为当售票员是非常简单，可是当你真正做起来了就不是那么回事了。

当售票员我总结了一下要注意以下几点：

一、举止大方、文明礼貌。公交车上的售票员是“上车交一元”。没到一站售票员就要点报一下，刚开始我对路线不是很清楚，还要仔细的研读并记住。我们正风华正茂、年轻气盛，刚开始还是十分热情，可是后来老是重复那几个站口感到十分厌烦。

二、头脑灵活有过目不忘之本事。当售票员一职，每当上一个人都要点数一下。刚开始我会少收钱(每上一个人司机都会做下记录)，最后司机告诉我：“要记住别人的相貌要有礼貌的向别人收钱。”还补充说：“千万不要与客人发生争执》”因为有些顾客喜欢逃票。

三、耐心、能够吃苦。因为我们早上是5：30开始上班。因为我家离公路还有一段距离，我只好5：00就起床。晚上下班就是10：00，然后一个人走回家，那真是累啊!要有耐心就是我们不是在一辆固定的公交车上，而是需要换动的。我们背着一个小包，整天数着那钱数。刚开始觉得新鲜，可后来就渐渐的不觉得新鲜了，不好玩了。

这以上几点是我边实践边总结，这些东西是书本上没有的，它需要我们自己总结归纳。

实践后——感悟

寒假生活就要总结了，回首我这个寒假的生活体验感觉只有一个字“累”。从前并不知道真正的生活，真正的工作到底是怎样的，这次的生活实践让我真正的体会到了生活的辛苦，挣钱的不容易。通过这次工作的经历让我能更好的调整自己的心态，以便更加认真努力的学习今后的课程。为以后能真正独自结仇社会奠定坚实的基础“吃得苦中苦，方为人上人”。

作为祖国未来的事业的继续人，新一代大学生应当尽早建立自己的历史责任感，进步自己的社会适应能力。假期的社会实践就是很好的锻炼自己的机会。当下，挣钱早已不是打工的唯一目的，更多的人将其视为参加社会实践、进步本身能力的机会。很多学校也积极鼓励大学生多接触社会、了解社会，一方面可以把学到的理论知识利用到实践中往，进步各方面的能力；另外一方面可以积累工作经验对往后的就业大有裨益。进行社会实践，最理想的就是找到与本专业对口单位进行实习，从而进步自己的实战水平，同时可以将课本知识在实践中得到应用，从而更好的指导自己今后的学习。但是作为一位还没有毕业的大学生，由于本身具有的专业知识还十分的有限，所以我选择了打散工作为第一次社会实践的方式。目的在于熟习社会。就职业本身而言，并没有高低贵贱之分，存在即为公道。通太短短几天的打工经历可让长时间处于校园的我们对社会有一种更直观的熟悉。

实践进程：自从走进了大学，就业题目就仿佛总是围绕在我们的身边，成了说不完的话题。在当今社会，招聘会上的大字报都总写着有经验者优先，可还在校园里面的我们这班学子社会经验又会具有多少呢？为了拓展本身的知识面，扩大与社会的接触面，增加个人在社会竞争中的经验，锻炼和进步自己的能力，以便在以后毕业后能真正真正走进社会，能够适应国内外的经济情势的变化，并且能够在生活和工作中很好地处理各方面的题目，我开始了我这个假期的社会实践—走进赣州市金源休闲餐厅。

实践，就是把我们在学校所学的理论知识，应用到客观实际中往，使自己所学的理论知识有用武之地。只学不实践，那末所学的就即是零。理论应当与实践相结合。另外一方面，实践可为以后找工作打基础。通过这段时间的实习，学到一些在学校里学不到的东西。由于环境的不同，接触的人与事不同，从中所学的东西自然就不一样了。要学会从实践中学习，从学习中实践。而且在中国的经济飞速发展，又加进了世贸，国内外经济日益变化，天天都不断有新的东西出现，在具有了愈来愈多的机会的同时，也有了更多的挑战，前天才刚学到的知识可能在今天就已被淘汰掉了，中国的经济越和外面接轨，对人才的要求就会愈来愈高，我们不只要学好学校里所学到的知识，还要不断从生活中，实践中学其他知识，不断地从各方面武装自已，才能在竞争中突出自已，表现自已。

在餐厅里，他人一眼就可以把我人出是一位正在读书的学生，我问他们为何，他们总说从我的脸上就可以看出来，呵呵，或许没有经历过社会的人都有我这类不着名遭受吧！我并没有由于我在他们眼前没有经验而退后，我相信我也能做的像他们一样好。我的工作是在那做传菜生，天天9点钟—下午2点再从下午的4点—晚上8：30分上班，固然时间长了点但，热忱而年轻的我并没有丝毫的感到过累，我觉得这是一种鼓励，明白了人生，感悟了生活，接触了社会，了解了未来。在餐厅里固然我是以传菜为主，但我不时还要做一些工作之外的事情，有时要做一些清洁的工作，在学校里或许有老师分配说今天做些甚么，明天做些甚么，但在这里，不一定有人会告知你这些，你必须自觉地往做，而且要尽自已的努力做到最好，一件工作的效力就会得到他人不同的评价。在学校，只有学习的氛围，究竟学校是学习的场所，每个学生都在为获得更高的成绩而努力。而这里是工作的场所，每一个人都会为了取得更多的报酬而努力，不管是学习还是工作，都存在着竞争，在竞争中就要不断学习他人先进的地方，也要不断学习他人怎样做人，以进步自已的能力！记得老师曾说过大学是一个小社会，但我总觉得校园里总少不了那份纯真，那份真诚，虽然是大学高校，学生还终回保持着学生的身份。而走进企业，接触各种各样的客户、同事、上司等等，关系复杂，但我得往面对我从未面对过的一切。记得在我校举行的招聘会上所反映出来的其中一个题目是，学生的实际操纵能力与在校理论学习有一定的差距。在这次实践中，这一点我感受很深。在学校，理论的学习很多，

而且是多方面的，几近是四平八稳；而在实际工作中，可能会碰到书本上没学到的，又多是书本上的知识一点都用不上的情况。也许工作中应用到的只是很简单的题目，只要套公式似的就可以完成一项任务。有时候我会抱怨，实际操纵这么简单，但为何书本上的知识让人学得这么费劲呢？这是社会与学校脱轨了吗？或许老师是正确的，固然大学生生活不像踏进社会，但是总算是社会的一个部份，这是不可否认的事实。但是有时也要感谢老师孜孜不倦地教导，有些题目有了有课堂上地认真消化，有平时作业作补充，我比一部人具有更高的出发点，有了更多的知识层面往应付各种工作上的题目，作为一位新世纪的大学生，应当晓得与社会上各方面的人交往，处理社会上所发生的各方面的事情，这就意味着大学生要留意到社会实践，社会实践必不可少。究竟，3年以后，我已不再是一位大学生，是社会中的一份子，要与社会交换，为社会做贡献。只晓得纸上谈兵是远远不及的，以后的人生旅途是漫长的，为了锻炼自己成为一位合格的、对社会有用的人才。

感觉我的生活似乎坐火车一样，总是马不停蹄地经过一个个站台，细心地观赏每一个地方所给你带来的充裕的眼界，有所选择也有所放弃！喀嚓喀嚓……我在家教站下车了，没有准备的就为你展示那幅从未阅读过的风景画，心情在舞动着……

这个春天有点残忍，冰冷雨水的天气持续了漫长的洗涤。就从那时起，我每天都要早早地起床做好出发的准备。若是下雨，我就乘坐公车来到学生的家里，原因是我不想迟到，这点我很重视，对自己要求严格一些，希望自己的坚持能给学生和家长带来好的印象。回来的时候都是走路回家的，即使是下雨我也选择走路。虽然回来的时候我的裤脚都湿透了。其实也没有觉得是件很大的事情，自然雨和自然的人都是那么的顺其自然啊！在每次回家的路上，我都会有不同的想法充斥着我的大脑，我要回想今天自己所做的事情，回想错误。新年来了，阴郁的天空下笼罩着车水马龙的城市，让我在工作繁忙之余能感受着另一种愉悦的心情。

接下来谈谈我的工作吧。我的学生是一位初二年级的.女孩，生性活泼开朗，能说会道，生活在一个物质充裕的家庭里。他的父亲非常关注她的学习和生活。但是我觉得这样的关心有点火暴。他们父女之间的交流方式经常是在家里大声喧哗，吵声不断。或许因为叛逆，又或许因为年轻，她的想法与大人之间的想法有所差异，我是能够理解的。父亲的每一句刺耳的词语都是在激励她、提醒她，但是在他的女儿看来是在却是深深的责备和不敬仁义的感情。这就是为什么她不能够专心学习的原因之一吧。我很想改变他父亲的这种做法同时也让孩子理解他的父亲，但是我能在这短暂的时间做些什么举动来挽救这段应该拥有美好回忆的女孩呢？

开始帮她补课的时候，我就大概了解她的学习情况特别是上学期的期考成绩，抓住弱项逐一补上。但是这个计划我没有实现，因为学生的数学成绩没有我想象中的好，开始对我讲的东西有点不知所云，特别反映在做题目上，这让我感到失望难过，我开始怀疑我自己了。我的表达能力是不是有问题，还是我真的不适合做这份工作。开始的第一天我就碰壁了，后来再试着讲解练习我就发现问题了：学生的基础知识很差，对于过去学习的知识没有深入，知识点很分散，不会灵活运用。为此，我重新改变原来的计划，叫她拿从前的数学课本重新学习，加强训练。后来又发现现在的数学课本内容不够详尽，虽然例题简单易懂，甚至是步骤简略不写，让我的学生疑惑多多，配套练习却是更复杂的题海。学生往往就这样的情况下被卡住了，如果没有详细的讲解，完全自学，对于这样基础差的学生来说确实是困难的。知道问题出在哪里就从哪里着手解决，后来我是自己出一些比较简单的习题让她强化做题，把学习的感觉找回来，又加深对这一类型题目的解决方法。从简单到复杂，总结归纳，慢慢地，知识点得到积累，通过一轮复习，往日的学习激情又重新点燃。只可惜这种激情没有持续多久，毕竟这是数学课，容易分心开小差。在闲于的时间里，我就跟她聊天，谈谈我们的大学生活，为她的人生规划新的目标，激励她为实现理想而不断努力！

通过一段短暂时间的实践活动，我深刻体会到当一位老师的是多么不易啊！我的目的不仅仅是提高她的学习成绩，而是改变她的学习习惯。在日新月异的时代里，具备的不仅是教书的能力，更多的是和学生之间沟通的心理战术。注重知识的积累，让学生成为一个有完全的人格魅力的人!我们无法按照自己的想法可以要求现实也跟我们一样,有时候这种现实状态是无法改变的,只有学着适应,学着改变自己,才能得到社会的认可,发展自我!

这次家教旅程就这样结束了,感觉有点失败,因为我没有完全帮助我的学生走上正路,在坎坷中学会自我成长。xx年，是收获金子的一年。每一个努力都是一个金子的闪光点，在掏冶的过程中，虽然艰辛漫长，但是在积少成多之后，你会发现自己原来就是一颗灿烂金子！

第十一条乙方留学期满回国后，应在一个星期内向甲方报到，按甲方规定办理有关手续。乙方须根据本协议书第三条的规定，向甲方提交书面的留学总结。

"all i know about leadership i learned from . . ." what items could a person use to describe leadership qualities?

inspired by the student council advisors at my high school.

student council was a big part of my life in high school. i have participated in it since my frst year of high school. when i frst joined， i was quiet， na?ve， and unwilling to participate in many activities. i was scared to meet new people and afraid to apply myself. this all began to change. half way through my frst year in student council， one of the advisors can up to me and asked why i did not participate that much. i did not have an answer for her and did not know how to respond. after this， i began to think of an answer. i became frustrated and decided to change. i started to show up at events and had a great time. i realized i loved this and wanted to start leading these activities. in my sophomore， junior， and now my senior year of high school， i asserted myself and took on a strong leadership role in student council. i did not fgure out the answer to why i was so reserved until this year with the help of this question.

when i looked up leadership in the dictionary， it said that it was the capacity to lead and the act or instance of leading. these are two very broad defnitions of leadership. many people have different notions of what this word actually means. when i was challenged to use different items to describe what leadership actually is， i thought this was going to be a hard and obnoxious task. what could i learn from comparing leadership to a stuffed animal or a rubber chicken? but when i sat down to come up with a couple of answers， i realized that leadership could be compared to almost anything a person wants.

all i know about leadership i learned from a calculator. a calculator can add everything together to come up with the best answer. it can delet e what is unnecessary and only include what is important. it can solve any type of problem. these are all important equalities a leader has to have. a leader has to be able to add all of the ideas together to make the best possible plan. leaders have to know how to decipher the good and the bad out of an idea. they have to be versatile and know how to deal with different types of issues.

all i know about leadership i learned from a ball. a ball is able to bounce back up after it is dropped. it is round and has no creases. a ball can be thrown back and forth to different people. all of these qualities are also leadership qualities. a leader has to be ready for every situation that is thrown at him or her. he or she has to be able to bounce back from any setbacks and never dwell on the past. leaders have to exhibit many qualities and never be closed-minded about a situation. a leader must be able to delegate when he or she cannot get the work done. they have to trust everyone they lead to be able to "catch the ball" and keep a project rolling.

this activity made me realize that being a leader is so much more than just having authority and having the ability to take control of a situation. a leader has to be trusting of all the people he or she leads and， leaders must be able to combine ideas into one encompassing idea. they cannot sit in the background and watch events happen; they have to jump in and be involved. they should not delegate all their responsibilities away.

leadership is more than what the dictionary says it is.

i learned through all of this that i have many of these qualities.

i have the ability to solve problems， lead through adversity， and be versatile. from answering this question， i realized that i could lead effectively， even if my leadership style is different from other individuals. when i joined student council in my frst year of high school， i did not have these qualities because i was never put into a situation where i had to lead. i was too reserved to try. when i tried， i learned that i could succeed in this. i did not realize until i answered this question about leadership. i was never able to see that being a leader is not just about taking control of a group and telling everyone what to do when i was a freshman， i thought leadership was this. i did not know that did not have to be forceful and strict. i stereotyped a leader then. thisis where i went wrong. a leader is about being yourself and never letting anyone change you. i thought i had to change to be a good leaderonly when i expanded my comfort zone did i realize this was not trueit only took three years and a silly question/game to fgure this out.
