Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. Born into

poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight

elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown.

He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit,

he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country.

Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up.

In short, it is important that we don’t give up when working for our goals.

Whether we succeed in the end or not, we will learn something, and what we learn

will help us to become better, more confident people. Furthermore, if we give

up, we have no chance of attaining our goals, but if we keep trying, there is

很高兴能有这样一个机会，能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是二年1、6、7、8、10班的英语任课教师，我姓赵。下面我就我们英语学习方面说我一些真实的感言：

在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。其实这也制造了一种假象，学生认为自己常常被老师提问，认为自己能够回答老师的问题，于是认为自己的英语学得很不错，自我感觉特别好。于是下课后在英语上花的时间就少了。其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。

那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?英语毕竟不是我们自己的语言，大多数学生除了英语课其余时间根本就不会想到要说英语，所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自己补习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面下功夫。

首先说一下听，每个学生都有和书相配套的磁带，可是请各位家长检查一下自己的子女的英语磁带，有多少学生的磁带还是和刚发的时候一样的，根本就没有听过。不要说另外买什么英语听力磁带或者英语学习的碟片了，连自己手头的磁带都不去听，光靠上课听一点点的磁带，学生的听力根本就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说，而说白了，学了英语就是要说，那不是白学了么?我每天叫学生回家要跟录音机读二十分钟的英语，可是有多少学生真地做到了呢?听录音机跟读，不是鹦鹉学舌，听见什么就跟着说什么。所读的知识已经学过了，跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语表达能力，要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音，从而使自己的听力和口语都提高一个层次。

接下来是说，英语是一门语言，学了就是要说，要和别人交流。我们学的英语不应该是哑巴英语，要让每个学生学会勇敢地说出来。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生，激发他们说英语的积极性，大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多，对每个人来说，说的机会就少。所以下课也要说;放学回家也要说。在学校，我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去，这样有更真实的情景，更能让学生有发挥的余地。在家里，希望家长也能鼓励学生说英语，也许你会说你自己也听不懂，请不要这样想，其实学生需要是你的鼓励，你听了他们说的只要简单表扬一句，他们就会很满足了。有时候你们也可以不懂装懂，或者还可以让学生反过来教你，他们会觉得很自豪，因为自己所学得派上了用场。

接下来是读。有句话：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”学英语也是这样，很多家长也明白，学英语要培养语感，也就是语言的感觉，如果有很好的语感，那么不管是说话，做题目，还是写文章，都很轻松，很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯，这是学英语的最基本的学习习惯了。我刚开始学英语的时候就是这样的，每天早上一定要读20分钟左右的英语，哪怕有时候时间来不及了，即使是迟到也要读，并且每天都坚持，绝不因任何原因间断。无论什么事情都贵在坚持嘛。如果你的子女还没有养成这样的学习习惯，请你一定要督促他，刚开始也许会比较难，时间久了，就会习惯成自然。就像早上起来要刷牙洗脸一样，要让他们把读英语当作每天必做的一件事。

最后是写。二年级英语已经对学生有一定的书写要求。首先是单词，单词是句子，段落，课文的最基本组成单位。背单词是学英语的必经之路。单词往往背过就容易会忘记，所以要不断的背，不断的翻新，这是没有办法的。我要求学生在背单词的时候要边拼边写，嘴巴和手都要动起来，嘴上十遍不如手上一遍。还有句型，二年级所接触的巨型都是很简单的日常用语。学生应该在课上领会句型的意思和运用方法。可后还需要通过多读课文，多练习才能巩固所学的句型。所以请各位家长不光要注重孩子背单词的情况，还要让他重视句子的重要性。

总而言之，请各位家长多关注孩子们的英语学习，让孩子养成良好的英语学习习惯。家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。不是要说注重过程嘛。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的.就是这些，谢谢!

For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and

poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down

and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever

we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact,

threatening our existence.

The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves

When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country.

There were many flowers and trees around our city. We could hear the birds

singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was

very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it

would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our

environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.

Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can

do something around your neighbourhood.

pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place? Have you ever cut

Our school life

Our shool is big and nice.There are about one thousand students in our school. Every day we have four lessons in the morning and three lessons in the afternoon. Our morning lessons begin at half past eight and we finish school at four o'clock We take the same subjects at school. Such as Chinese, maths, Englsh, PE and so on.The school day is long. But we love our school life.

欢迎各位家长百忙之中抽空前来参加本次家长会活动。首先我想向各位家长表示感谢。感谢各位半学期以来对我的工作的支持，对孩子学习的督促和检查。

今天我主要想谈三个方面的内容。

一、向各位家长汇报一下我们班这学期以来的英语学习情况。

我们每周三节英语课分别由外教老师主教两节，我主教一节。我们这学期聘请的这个一年级的外教老师，是个美国人，很年轻，很活泼，很幽默，所以孩子很喜欢他，每次看到外教老师来也很激动。他上课主要先是从单词入手，再进行短语与句子的训练，经常会补充教授一些单词。在我的课堂中，比较喜欢在课堂中运用多种形式的教学方法顾及到所有的孩子，给每个人平等的机会。尤其是根据孩子课后到我这里来过关的情况，有针对性地进行教学。

在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。半学期以来课堂上认真听讲的有：袁唯曦、张宇涵、琚茗媛、朱余恒、赵宇晨、王振翔。发言积极的有：陈梓涵、王笑、朱佩琪、刘念、严梓鑫。在课后过关积极的有：朱岑、张沁书、林宇宸。

二、孩子在英语学习中还存在的问题：

1.读书时声音不够响亮，读书时，没有指读。

2.个别学生过关不够及时。

3.考试情况分析：这次考试以卷面的形式，听力占70分，笔试占30分。对孩子来说这是第一次考英语，难免有些紧张。但是细细看，其实题目并不难，只要把我们平时所学的词句都掌握好了，考好应该不是问题。这次考试全班满分4人，90分以上的有18人，90人以下的有17人。我仔细分析了错误原因，主要有几点：一、不够细心、耐心，没有理解题意。因为之前做题不太多，不适应考试题型。老师在指导做题时，将每道题的意思都已经解释很清楚，个别同学没有注意听老师读题，导致出错，还有几个学生在做题时出现了漏题的现象。

三、也是最关键的一点，就是孩子不能正确认读单词。

试卷的第五、笔试第一和第三项都和认读有关。有家长也很纳闷，我的孩子在家读书很多，读得也不错，但是为什么考试的成绩不是很理想?

基于上述的情况，以下几点希望我们共同配合努力：

要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。所以要做到继续关注听和读。

1.复读机，录音机这种硬件设备一定要配备，是必须的。给孩子创造更好的学习语言环境。给孩子模仿发音提供必备的条件。

2.磁带是每天必须坚持要听的，即使没有新知识的注入，也可以是旧知识的复习。只有这样，你知识的雪球才会越滚越大。

3.在家听读的时候，一定要保证手指到，眼睛看到，嘴巴大声的朗读出来。这也是帮助孩子认读单词的一个好方法。

4.在书本上进行家长签字，写上日期。家里的复习做的好，也相当于一个孩子的二次学习。同时家长给予我们及时的反馈，更加方便我们之间的沟通与交流。

5.帮助孩子认读。几种方法：打乱顺序读。打印出来或者抄写下来，认读。做单词卡片，随时读。

6.学有余力的孩子可以加强课外学习。提高自己的眼界，提升自己的平台。最后，因为老师始终是面向全体孩子，难免有所忽略。所以请家长谅解，有任何的问题，我们及时的沟通。争取找到最合适的解决办法。我要讲的就是这些，谢谢!

大家好！今天我演讲的题目是：《做一名幸福的老师》。

我叫__，是__小学的一名教师，中共党员，小学高级教师，在三尺讲台已默默耕耘了x个春秋。教师是太阳底下最光辉的职业，我们不仅要创造事业的辉煌，让工作业绩可圈可点，我们也要拥有健康的身心、幸福的家庭、亮丽的风采！我们生活在多姿多彩的大千世界，只有拥有事业的追求、真诚的友谊、温馨的家庭，我们的生活才是幸福的、快乐的。在平凡的岗位上，我怀着一颗感恩的心，努力营造这种氛围，幸福、快乐地过好每一天。

一、真诚关爱，是成功的法宝

爱是一个永恒的话题，没有爱就没有教育。教师的爱像一束阳光，能温暖学生的心田；教师的爱像一股甘泉，能滋润学生的心灵；教师的爱像一缕春风，能叩开学生的心扉。作为一名教师，我把一颗慈母般的爱心，无私地奉献给每一个孩子，用真心感化真心，感受到了成功的喜悦。

我教过这样一个孩子，父亲因病去世，母亲没有工作，姐妹两人均在读书，家庭生活十分拮据，她曾几度辍学，每次进行家访，都耐心地激励她“人穷志不能短，知识就是力量，要学好本领，感恩母亲，感恩社会。”我还把自己孩子的校服及学习用品悄然送给她，主动为她申请了“__”，对她进行帮助，在生活、学习和心理上给予她真诚的关爱，经过“春风化雨，润物无声”的谈心交流，唤起了她关爱班级、刻苦学习的动力，使她成为一名品学兼优的好学生。她妈妈含着热泪激动地说：“__老师，你对孩子照顾的无微不至，让我们怎么感谢您呀？”

为提高全乡六年级的教学质量，__至__连续三年全乡六年级的学生都集中到乡小，为了学生的安全，所有女生都安排在我家住宿。60多个十二三岁的孩子集中到两间房子，年龄小又娇生惯养，可以想象晚上休息的情景，如果管理不好，看书的、说话的、乱闹的、打架的会乱做一团，后果不堪设想。孩子们只有晚上休息好，第二天才能学习好，才能健康成长。我并不担任六年级的课程，但我从内心热爱这些孩子，给她们耐心细致地谈生活习惯、学习习惯，帮助她们整理卫生。孩子年龄小，有时想家，我都无偿为她们提供电话。孩子们生病的时候，我主动为她们买药、送开水、提供暖水袋。时间长了学生养成了良好的习惯，也喜欢上了我家。有的老师说：“这么多孩子在家住，烦不烦呀？”我说：“学校放心，家长放心，孩子们高兴，我就知足了。”

二、任劳任怨，无怨无悔

幸福是千百年来人们一直追求的人生境界。谁都不可能生活在一个孤立的世界，我们每天都要和学生、同事、亲友处事交往。创造一个和谐的氛围，是幸福生活的基础。常言道：赠人玫瑰，手有余香。如果想得到快乐，就不能只想自己，而应为他人着想，为大家着想，因为快乐来自于你为别人，别人为你。

冬天，我校用蜂窝炉取暖，每星期一的早晨各办公室都要先引着炉子，由于双休日都回家，引炉子的地方在学校内很难找。我充分利用离学校近的优势，星期一早晨，早早在家用铁簸箕，带着旺旺的蜂窝到学校，等老师们到校的时候，炉子已经着起来了，有的老师烤着手高兴地说：“这又是__做得好事！”大家高兴，我也高兴。

我常想：能为大家做点事情，大家高兴，我也高兴，大家幸福，我也幸福！

三、用爱心营造温馨的家庭

我们每天都要在家庭—学校这两点一线的路上奔波，营造温馨和睦的家庭，是干好教育工作的基础。婆婆有三个儿子和两个女儿，我排行老二，虽然当教师的生活十分清贫，但对家庭的付出从不含糊，每逢过年都要给年过七旬的'婆婆买衣服和春节用品，年除夕的晚上，都置办丰盛的菜肴请全家的十几口人美美地团圆一顿，春节后招待亲朋也全有我来伺候。分家的时候，大哥是新房，三弟也是新房，而我却是三十多年、地基又洼、连排水都困难的老房子，我从没举论过。我一直幸福快乐地过好每一天，因为付出是快乐的，奉献是幸福的。

身教胜于言教，我们的行为潜移默化地感染着孩子，儿子上班了，我和他开玩笑地说：“我们老了，怎么办呀？”他笑着说：“放心吧！有你们做榜样，一定错不了啊！”。听了孩子的话，心里美滋滋的，觉得自己是天底下最幸福的人！

四、辛勤耕耘，赢来累累硕果

二十几年如一日，勤勤恳恳，任劳任怨，忠爱我们的教育事业。教师是人类灵魂的工程师，是塑造灵魂的使者，教师的责任是光荣艰巨的。我清醒地认识到：有一个为祖国培养人才的机会、有一个教师的岗位，是非常幸福而自豪的。因此，我非常热爱和珍惜这个岗位。在平凡的岗位上，刻苦学习，深入钻研，率先垂范，努力提高自己的业务素养，全力实现“要给学生一碗水，教师要有一桶水，甚至要有长流水”的境界，构建优质高效课堂，张扬学生的个性，挖掘学生的潜能，让学生健康快乐的成长。

辛勤耕耘，换来累累的硕果，__年所撰写的论文获国家级二等奖，__年撰写的论文获国家级一等奖，__年被评为“优秀青年教师”，__年被评为“市优秀教师”，__年被评为“市十佳园丁”。__、__、__连续三年，所担任的数学课在全乡每次考试中，均获得第一名，连年被评为优秀教师。

my dream is to become a teacher。

you know being a teacher is a thing that is very valuable and very interesting。 i suggest that it must be a great fun to be with children all the day。 and if i am a teacher， i can teach my students a lot of knowledge。 they might become stronger and cleverer because of me。 that is a very contented feeling。

china is a developing country。 Chinese are not that excellent in their intellegent。 so teachers in china might be very very important。 they can provide the society with a lot of successful people， and make china a better place。

My future house is wide and spacious. It contains a lot of room such as swim pool, exercise room which contains a plenty of exercise machines, and a big play land so I can play inside the house no matter what time i play, it always open for me.

Everything inside the house will be clean of themselves so I don't have to wash them. The tables are new, the computer is the coolest and the tv channels are enjoyable to watch. I want the background of the wall is mysterious and pretty and different in every single room.

My future house will prevent the volcano blow and the tsunami or flood attack. It has the emergency exit and security alarm so everything will be safe!

I am very glad to make a speech here in this CLASS again! This time, I'd

like to talk something about English.

I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It

has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade.

Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.

When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I

played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the

beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English

cartoons.

On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different

people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral

English.

I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to

visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of

course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language

developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very

happy.

I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll introduce China

to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Anshan.

I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard

study, one day I can speak English.
