through. We must be confirmed that, today, the challenges we face are real.

They are serious they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short

span of time. But we will somehow find a way to overcome the difficulties. My

major is __X. My job is to discover or create new drugs for many diseases like

cancer. You know that laboratory is the place where miracles happen. Believe it

or not. What I do can save millions of people’s lives. For a long time, what

challenges me is how to commercialize research. You come up with a great idea,

but moving that new discovery from theory to practice or from the lab to the

marketplace, that's re ally a big job. That’s what we should focus on.

We need to act with a sense of urgency-to study and work and create as if

the fate of the country depends on us-because it does. It depends on us. Thank

大家好！今天我演讲的题目是：保护地球爱我家。

众所周知，环保就是环保。但是地球这个美丽富饶的蓝色星球，却在人类的摧残下伤痕累累，保护环境迫在眉睫。

在不久以前，南美洲有一种鸽子叫候鸽，数量巨大。当数十亿只鸽子飞过森林时，整个天空都被覆盖了。但由于人们发现了它的食用价值，不加区别地捕杀，再加上环境的恶化和森林的减少，鸽子的数量日益减少。1914年，最后一只等待的鸽子死在动物园的笼子里，这只美丽的鸟彻底灭绝了。当时美国降半旗。

人类对环境的这种肆意破坏不仅会使动物灭绝，还会急剧改变气候。酸雨、全球变暖、海平面上升、浮冰融化、冰架坍塌、沙尘暴、这些自然灾害都是人类的杰作。你知道全球变暖过程中1度的价格吗？经过实验论证，美国科学家得出了一个惊人的结论：地球平均温度上升1度，会使农作物产量减少很多；当极地上升2度，融化的水将淹没地球90%的土地；如果上升3度，地球上所有的生态系统都会崩溃。

那么，气候变化的原因是什么呢？是因为人们肆意砍伐森林，使土地贫瘠，肆意杀害动物。人们纷纷建设化工厂，化工厂排出的废气会“钻”到臭氧层，使阳光中的紫外线直接照射到地球表面，造成中暑、皮肤癌、加速融冰等严重后果。

我们能为环境保护做些什么？下面，我将告诉你一些我们可以采取的措施。

第一，尽量不要用一次性筷子。一次性筷子太多会导致人砍树更辛苦。

第二，节水省电，用完后关掉水龙头，因为滴水的水龙头半小时可以浪费1.8升水。电灯使用后及时关闭，可防止电能浪费，避免火灾。

第三，不要乱扔废旧电池、塑料瓶等物品。电池中的化学废物会使一平方米的土地变得无用。

最后，我呼吁作为未来的接班人，我们应该团结起来保护地球，热爱我的祖国！谢谢大家！

We all wish (hope) to be happy, so we should take good care of our health.

Health is the best treasure (which) a man can possess. Money can do many things, but it cannot buy happiness. However, so long as man has good health, he can enjoy the pleasures of human life.

In order to insure good health we must pay attention to three things. They are-nourishing food, fresh air and proper exercise.

我们大家都希望快乐，所以我们应该好好保重健康。一个病人因为失去健康而很少快乐。

The word, friend, covers a wide range of meanings. It can be a nodding

acquaintance, a comrade, a confidant, a partner, a playmate, an intimate

colleague, etc.

Everyone needs friendship. No one can sail the ocean of life single-handed.

We need help from, and also give help to, others. In modern society, people

attach more importance to relations and connections. A man of charisma has many

friends. His power lies in his ability to give.

As life is full of strife and conflict, we need friends to support and help

us out of difficulties. Our friends give us warnings against danger. Our friends

offer us advice with regard to how do deal with various situations. True friends

share not only our joys but also our sorrows.

With friendship, life is happy and harmonious. Without friendship, life is

sad and unfortunate. I have friends in high positions and friends in the rank

and file. Some are rich and in power. Some are relatively poor and without

power. Some are like myself, working as a teacher, reading and writing, content

with a simple life. We all care for each other, love and help each other. We

feel we are happiest when we chat and exchange ideas with one another. With my

friends, I know what to treasure, what to tolerate and what to share.

I will never forget my old friends, and I'll keep making new friends. I

will not be cold and indifferent to my poor friends, and I will show concern for

them, even if it is only a comforting word.

and the ice of pessimism,then you are grown old,even at 20,but as long as your

aerials are up,to catch waves of optimism,there is hope you may die young at

80.

Animals are our best friends. But there are many bad things about them. So

we should try our best to protect animals.

First, let us know the status of the animal. Now, animals are facing very

great danger. For example, there are many kinds of animals will die out. And

there are many people eat precious and wild animals. They are nasty. As

students, we should stop this behavior and protect animals.

Then, let us know we should how to protect animals. We should protect they

habitat. If you see other people mindlessly trample animal homes, nicely remind

them of the damage they're causing. We can not also eat some wild animals. We

should ask other people to protect them, too. Let we protect animals

大家好:

地球是我们共同的家园，地球妈妈曾把这个家打扮得可漂亮了，处处绿树成荫，鸟语花香，河流清澈，天空蔚蓝，空气清新......我们的生活的环境是多么美好啊!

可是，不知从什么时候起，有一些人不懂得爱护自己的家园，做了许多伤害地球妈妈的事情，一片片树林倒下，一块块绿色消失，一条条污水流出，自然界的生态平衡遭到严重破坏，飓风、暴雨、暴风雪、洪涝、干旱、酷暑等灾情不期而至，地球妈妈已伤痕累累。衣服破了可以补，桌子坏了可以修，鞋子脏了可以洗，可地球妈妈要是病了，就无药可救了。所以，我们一定要像爱护生命一样，爱护我们的地球，保护我们的妈妈。

保护环境是一项长期而又艰巨的任务，但我们可以从身边一点一滴的小事做起，好多时候保护环境只是举手之劳。几天前看到的一件事深深地感动了我。那天，我和妈妈在车站等车，天很冷，刮着大风，路上的行人都形色匆匆。这时，有一个老爷爷走过来，从随身的书包里拿出一把小铲，仔仔细细地开始清理贴满小广告的站台。有除不掉的地方，爷爷就从水壶里倒出一些水来，把纸粘湿后再铲。十几分钟过去了，爷爷的脸和手被冻红了，站台上却被清理得干干净净。其实爷爷做的事情我们一样可以做到：在洗手时及时关上水龙头;多弯弯腰不随地乱扔果皮纸屑;多走几步路不穿越绿化带;不乱扔塑料袋和废电池;随手关灯节约能源等等。我们还可以用自己的行动影响周围的人，向大家宣传环保，为环境出一份力。让爸爸妈妈少开一天车，减少碳排放;参加植树造林，保护森林资源;少用一次性制品，维护环境整洁等等。

“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”，作为地球的小主人，只要我们人人都伸出自己的一双手，为保护地球妈妈贡献自己的一份力量，就一定会让天更蓝，水更清，地更绿，让我们的家园更加美丽!

保护环境，人人有责。让我们行动起来吧!

大家好！

我是四（1）班的莫__，很高兴能和大家一起开这个交流会。

地球母亲是一个晶莹透亮的球体，上面蓝色和白色的纹痕相互交错，周围裹着一层薄薄的水蓝色“纱衣”。但是，地球正在遭受到人类的破坏，所以借这次机会，我想让大家对地球有一个新的了解。

因为人类随意破坏环境，地球母亲遭到谁污染、大气污染、土壤污染。地球母亲就像一棵大树，我们人类就像树上的虫子，吸取着大树的营养，使地球生命减短。因为人类的破坏，她终于发怒了，引来了洪水、地震、泥石流等一系列生态灾害。

为了保护地球母亲，我有以下两点提议：

（1）尽量不要是用一次性用品。因为一次性用品使用一次就扔掉了，这样不但破坏环境，而且浪费资源。

（2）多步行或骑自行车，少骑摩托车或开车。因为车会排放出废气，影响空气质量，而步行或骑自行车却是最环保的。

我们的母亲为我们付出了很多很多，可是我们大家是怎样回报她呢？学会如何从自己开始，从身边的小事做起，积极参与保护环境的行动，在头脑中孕育可持续发展思想萌芽；要搞好校园的植树种花，提高绿化覆盖率，用环保理念美化、绿化校园。要开展节水，节电等节约资源的活动，提高废弃物回收利用率，保持环境整洁，我想只有我们保护环境，才能保护我们的母亲-----地球，才能把她装扮的更加美丽！我也请大家时刻记住，保护地球母亲就是保护我们人类自己。

我是来自育德小学六一班的易笑珂。浏阳河社区近年来鸟语花香、绿树成荫、高楼林立，一片欣欣向荣的景象。大家傍晚都愿意走出家门到社区活动，大街小巷好不热闹!

人们都说，学校是反映社区文明程度的一扇窗，我也希望您能在百忙之中抽出一点时间来了解了解我提出的小小建议。学校是培育下一代的地方，是孕育民族

希望的地方，校内是如此，可校外有些风气不太好，紧挨着校园的就是一个麻将馆，我们上学放学的路上总会听见一阵阵麻将撞击声，这难道不会对我们的身心造成

伤害吗?

还有，在上学路上，会途径许多的小卖部，那里面经常出售“三无”食品，我们班以前有一个经常光顾这些小卖部的同学，有一次突发高烧，什么原因引起发烧，医生也莫名其妙。其实我们都心知肚明，罪魁祸首一定是“三无”食品。

此外，小商铺还出卖一种“抽奖”卡片，诱惑着一二年级的孩子们掏出买早餐的钱去抽奖。这难道有益于我们的身心吗?

因为以上的种.种原因，我恳请您好好地整改一下校园周边的环境，让祖国的花朵开得更鲜艳更灿烂吧!

Today as the development of the technology people live a much better life than before the average wage is promoted highly. The economy develops at the cost of polluting the environment we can see the pollution everywhere like the river water is dirty the situation is so serious that we must take some action to control the environmental pollution. First we should not throw away the rubbish whenever we have rubbish at hand we should keep the habit to throw it into the dustbin sometimes the garbage can be recycled. Second the government should make some measure to punish the industry which is not deal with the pollution well. With the government’s intervention the businessmen will pay special attention to the pollution and dare not to ignore it. Protecting the environment needs everyone’s effort to ourselves and our offspring’s health we must take action to protect the environment.

年，就让上百种生物，植物灭绝了。现在还有上千种生物，植物濒临灭绝。现在几乎每一个小时就有几十种动物被贴上灭绝的死亡标签，因为破坏，污染。许多动物发生了基因变异，比如西班牙的双头蛇，澳洲的两头三眼蜥蜴……有些动物变异之后，对人类也产生了巨大威胁。日本东南沿海海域的巨型蜘蛛蟹，是由蜘蛛蟹变异而来，异常凶狠。在非洲，有一种有欧洲蜂变异的巨蜂，所到之处，所有生命无一生存。同时，因为过度砍伐，许多植物的现状也不容乐观。比如，珍贵的红木。就因为大肆砍伐，濒临绝种。

最近，电视上，收音机里都在说矿泉水不合格的问题，我又想到以前在收音机里听到水污染的问题。那些破坏水源，污染水源的人，难道不喝水吗?他们饮用到被污染的水，难道不是自食其果吗?那些饮用了被污染水而生病的无辜群众，就不能让破坏环境的人引起关注吗?

让我们改变自己的不良习惯，从我做起，从身边做起，用举手之劳，保护我们人类的共同家园 --- 地球母亲吧!

人类在漫长的发展道路上，无论是履行自然还是发展经济，都创造了辉煌的业绩。但是与此同时，因为不合理的开发和利用自然资源，不注意环境保护工作，造成了全球性的生态破坏和环境污染。现在全球每年有600万公顷的土地沦为沙漠，2000万公顷森林在消失，平均一小时有一种物种在灭绝。由于臭氧层被破坏，温室效应在加剧，使用权地球气温不断升高，南极冰冠开始溶化，海洋平面将不断升高，世界上许多沿海城市、岛屿和大量土地，将被海水吞没。这一系列环境问题，不仅影响着经济的发展和社会的进步，甚至威胁着人类的生存，所以爱护环境，已成为全人类共同关心的问题。

同学们，保护环境十分重要。如果在发展经济的过程中不注意环境保护，就要受到大自然的报复。不仅损害我们这一代，还要遗害子孙万代!

我国正在以经济建设为中心建设有_社会。在实现现代化的过程中，党和政府十分重视环保工作，把保护环境列为一项基本国策。

5节约用水。如果我们不想让眼泪成为我们最后一滴生命之源，那我们就要节约用水。选择一水多用的方法，让水也可以循环利用。

6节约用电。如果没有了点，人们就会生活在黑暗的世界里，那么我们怎么工作和学习

Water is the source of life

Earth looks like a big blue marble; from high above the Earth and from the moon, the planet gleams and shines. The blue water in the oceans and seas of the Earth makes a dramatic image.Water is the source of this beauty and the source of life on Earth. It is the reason people can live on this planet. December 4th, 2012, will be the first-ever Wildlife Conservation Day. Our goal is to inform more people about this global conservation crisis. Attacks on rhinos and elephants are multiplying at an alarming rate. Species around the globe such as tigers in Asia are endangered. By some estimates, the black market for wildlife trafficking is rivaled in size only by the illegal arms and drug trade. The slaughter of endangered species robs communities of income from tourism, reduces biodiversity, encourages corruption, undermines good governance.

many years ago, a baby boy came into this world. but unfortunately, he

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction，because the

environment that they are living in has changed greatly.For example，with the

developmet of cities，the using of insecticide and serious pollution，their living

areas have bee narrowcr and narrower.Many of the wild animals，now are confronted

with food crisis.At the same time，man is killing off species just for getting

their fur，skin，horns，teeth and meat. In order to protect our resources of

ecology，people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss

of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty.There fore，measures of the

following should be taken:pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons;

killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up

as wild life，reserves. Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can
