大家，晚上好!

进步的地方：单词有明显的进步。期中单词测试，我们对本册书从第一单到第三单元的打五角星的全部单词进行了测试，总体情况良好，尤其比过去有很大的进步。六2班，42个同学达到90分以上，期中22个100分。这些成绩的取得当然离不开班主任老师的负责和各位家长的付出，以及对孩子英语学习的关注。

单词是学习英语的基础，只有打好了基础才能学好英语。当然并不是说只要把单词背出了，就能学好了英语了，那没有那么简单了。随着年级的升高，要求与难度自然是越来越高了。所以今天，我们主要是针对在我们六年级英语学习中遇到的问题和难题进行一下交流与探讨，看看怎样能够更好地进行解决以及家长需要做那些配合工作来促进孩子的学习。

1、单词能默写，但放到听力题目中就无法做对。为什么?平时的听力时间不够，对英语不够敏感。还有一个就是听力技巧问题了，无法抓住关键词。当然这个技巧的掌握必须是能听懂题目的基础上了。现在学生还欠缺的是平时的听录音不够，或者说专心听英语的时间还不够。您可能习惯在孩子睡觉前、起床后给孩子听录音磁带，这种方法很好，可以培养孩子的语感。此外，您还应该每天固定一个时间让孩子听录音磁带，并鼓励孩子大声跟读。听一句跟读一句，这样可以提高听读的准确性。对孩子的听力有着更大提高作用。

2、专心度不够：这里举几个例子，一次布置的英语回家作业是抄写书后的11个单词，要求学生抄四遍中文一遍，有15个学生都有错误。平时的抄写作业都会有学生抄错。另外，在上次期中测试中，在考试前的课堂中我透露了两道题目，到考试时这两道题目只有20个左右的学生答对。这些都说明学生在平时的课堂和回家作业时不够专心。

3、对英语的运用能力和理解能力还需提高。上次的期中测试中有很多题目都是涉及考查学生的运用和理解能力。

英语不是速成的，关键是靠平时的累积。认真听好课并积极回答老师提出的问题，用心完成每一次作业不犯低级错误，每天听英语录音并能理解录音内容，鼓励课外观看英语类节目或看英语课外书或者参加英语的学习。还有就是家长多关注孩子的学习，检查每天的作业是否完成，每次的测验情况如何。我想，如果我们能做到，那么情况会越来越好，问题会越来越少的。那作为家长，应该如何正视自己孩子的英语学科学习呢?该如何帮助孩子养成良好的学习习惯呢?该如何提高孩子的学习成绩呢?在英语学科方面，我提以下几点建议：

1、给孩子学习的信心。

不管孩子接受其他知识的能力如何，在英语学科方面，千万不能随意的打击。语言没有谁天生对之反感，也没有谁天生就是天才，都是在实践中逐渐积累，乃至熟能生巧。家长要有一颗平常心，不要对孩子说一些“你是家中希望，一定要考上重点”或“考砸了，爸妈脸往哪儿搁”之类的话，或者动不动就一顿打，(举例)家长需要耐心与冷静，这是帮助孩子坦然面对学习的关键。看到孩子的优势，适当鼓励和引导，让孩子对英语的学习充满着自信，这一点相当重要。

2、平时多了解孩子的作业和测验情况。

每天的作业都记在家庭作业本上，请家长在作业本上签字。签字的目的不是为了签字而签字，而是检查学生作业的质量。家长一旦发现作业的质量不高，一定要让他重新做好。在家这么一抓，学校再来一抓，他没有任何可以放松的机会，良好的品质就容易养成。并且还能有效地杜绝抄袭。读，读了几遍?是不是跟录音机读的;背，背得熟不熟。每天的作业老师指出的错误及时改正了吗?每天的作业都需要家长签名。

3、坚持背好每个单元所学的英语单词。

默写单词，词组不是默写完就算，一定要让孩子对着书检查一遍，把错的改正在背熟，才起得默写的效果。一般要求当天教的单词当天默写。这样才符合人的遗忘规律。记忆效果很好。在课堂上默写的时候，学生就有底气，正确率高，体验到成功的快乐，可以增强孩子的学习英语的信心。

4、经常检查孩子的书，一是可以看出孩子上课是否认真听了记录了，二是督促孩子及时复习老师上课讲的重点。

5、看孩子的试卷，不是光看看分数就完了，，或不能一问了。家长要把测验试卷打开亲自看一看，了解孩子为什么错，是单词没记住;是上课没注意听，还有就是把老师讲评的要点让孩子认真复习。督促孩子上课听老师讲评练习题或试卷的时候，有错误的地方要及时更正，课后要多复习，这样就可以有效避免再犯同样的错误，试卷需要家长签字。帮助孩子把试卷保存好，每次期中期末考看老师讲的重点和自己的错题是非常有效的方法，起到事半功倍的效果。还有，孩子作业的字迹，对待作业的态度，听课的效率，对英语学科的兴趣等等，家长的重视和督促同样是不可忽略。

6、配合孩子学习的方法。

向孩子学习，拜他为师，会极大地提高孩子的学习兴趣和认真学习的程度。同爸爸妈妈一道学，教奶奶学英语，都会使孩子们高兴。(举例)实践证明：轻松愉快的学习，能充分调动和发挥学生的学习兴趣、积极性和潜能，从而能增强记忆效果，掌握运用外语的能力;反之，呆板、枯燥、紧张的学习，只能抑制思维活动，降低学习效果。我们提出上述的一些方法，都是为了帮助家长在课外为孩子创造轻松愉快的学习环境和氛围，使孩子喜欢学英语。可以说要想让孩子学得好，首要是让孩子能“爱学”、“乐学”，这是现代教育所一再强调的。鼓励孩子联系生活实际进行学习。如在家居物品贴上英文标签，全家人一道学;去公园、商店时，复习有关词、句;主动同外宾交谈等(举例)。

7、适当给孩子一些压力。

家长可适当给孩子布置一点口头或笔头的作业，给孩子一些适当的负担，帮助学生练习所学知识，这样的坚持同样也能取得一定的效果。毕竟是熟能生巧，尤其对小学生来说。

We cannot lose innovation

There is a wonderful word which expresses the most original motions and desires among human-beings. With solving any kind of imperfections, our world has moved ahead. This is the word “innovation” that we cannot afford to lose.

We chicaned every detail of the innovation. Thousands years before, we created fire when we took a stone to knock another one. Since Han Dynasty, four great inventions had been created and it is one of the greatest signs that China become to the ancient civilized country. And nowadays, thousands of software, products, architectures and public facilities have upgraded more than that about 100 years ago. So how did these happen? What will you do if you are not satisfied with your tools anymore? What will you do if old mode cannot afford to develop in a company? There is no doubt that we should innovate no matter where we are and what we do. Not because of the design itself, but actually for its intended purpose.

If there was no Apple, everyone could not imagine how to contact others easily and enjoy a better Internet surfing.

If there was no Microsoft, perhaps we still worked in a dim office and duplicate some troublesome documents. 二、孩子的特点以及相应的教学举措

孩子们的年龄都集中在6——8岁，共同特点是好玩，好动。注意力还不能持久稳定。但他们可爱、聪明、热情。正处于掌握语言的最佳时期。我作为他们的英语老师，我将尽职尽责，竭尽全力通过丰富多彩形式多样充满趣味性的教学活动

三、教材特点

本学期学校采用了新的教材，分别要求听，认，说。从难度上来说，词汇量少，句型简单，这大大减轻了孩子们学习的压力，

同时也减少了家长辅导的难度。教材遵循由浅入深，由易入难的规律，所选内容均是与学生平时日常生活有关，可以密接结合平时的生活经历，切实做到了理论与实践结合，让孩子在现实生活中也能有机会锻炼英语口语。

四、良好学习习惯的培养

重视孩子朗读作业的完成。英语学习的初级阶段，一般书写作业较少，大多是一些朗读的作业。朗读作业同样非常重要，完成时一定要让孩子大声的朗读给您听，哪怕您没时间，边做家务边听，也要让孩子读给您听，老师要求读几遍，就必须完成几遍，当然，这个几遍只是一般意义上的，也就是老师感觉读这几遍孩子能记住，能记牢。如果您的孩子不能完全掌握，还可以多读几遍，以孩子能记准记牢为标准。读完后家长签字，要具体签上读了几遍，是否读熟。

五、树立家校通力合作，教育才能达到最佳效果的观念要树立正确的教育观念。

现代社会，在小学阶段对孩子影响最大的还是来自学校和家庭。同样的学校同样的老师，学生的发展却有极大的不同，有的学习优秀，能考上理想的重点中学，而有的却差强人意，甚至举步维艰，为什么呢？除了孩子个体的原因，家庭教育的不同是造成差异的主要原因。父母生下孩子，花了大量的时间精力养育他，您的态度、习惯决定了您孩子的态度和习惯。

六、注重鼓励评价，促进学生的和谐发展。

孩子刚进入小学的时候，年幼的他们也将面临许多挑战和困难。要多用表扬激励的方式。常言道，失败是成功之母，但对这个阶段的孩子来说，“成功”是成功之母：取得进步并得到表扬，才会对学习有兴趣、有信心，为以后的学习奠定良好的基础。要努力发现孩子的点滴进步，多鼓励孩子。对学习上出现一些困难的孩子，切记不要用伤孩子自尊的话语，这样的话语可能会毁了他的一生。一年级的知识对成年人来说您肯定觉得太简单了，但对孩子却不同，而且每个孩子的接受能力不同，要多给孩子一些消化吸收的时间，不要急于求成。

可是，你会问，怎样学好英语呢?我怎么就对英语没有兴趣呢?的确啊，提到这个问题，我也能理解大家的心情，看着那么多的单词，一篇篇的英语课文，的确是很难，难道我们真的会被它难住吗?

“兴趣是最好的老师”兴趣是学习英语的巨大动力，有了兴趣，学习就会事半功倍。我们都有这样的经验：喜欢的事，就容易坚持下去;不喜欢的事，是很难坚持的。而兴趣不是与生俱来的，需要培养。现在大家想一下你身边有这样的同学吗? “我一看到英语就头疼，怎么能培养对英语的兴趣呢?”还有的同学说：“英语单词我今天记了明天忘，我太笨了，唉，算了，我没治了，不学了。”这都是缺乏信心的表现。还有的同学说“我爸妈都是农民没有学过英语，所以我没有学习英语的细胞.”大家不觉得这样推卸责任很可笑吗?我们才初学英语啊，为什么要用这样的借口和态度来对待

英语呢?你觉得这样对英语公平吗?它和我们的汉语一样不过只是一门语言，如果你一开始就报这样的态度，真的对不起，就算上帝也救不了你。如果一开始你抱这样的态度，你就会感到英语是一门枯燥无味的学科，学了一段时间之后，学习积极性也逐渐降低，自然也就不会取得好成绩。但是，只要你认真听取老师的意见，认识到学英语的必要性，用正确的态度对待英语学习，用科学的方法指导学习。多找一些英语方面的活动，比如 ，唱英文歌、做英语游戏、读英语幽默短文、练习口头对话等。时间长了，懂得多了，就有了兴趣，当然，学习起来就有了动力和欲望。最后，一定会取得成。毕竟No pains no gains。 说到这儿，大家又会抱怨，说没有学习英语的环境，其实不然，英语学习关键在于自己。大家不知道注意到了没有，现在生活中到处充满了英文，比如你们家电器上的on off 开关标志，就连语文课文中也有romatic modern等词，再比如一些物品，食品的说明书上都有英文，难道这不是学习英语环境吗?大家要做一个有心人，随时做好学习英语的准备。养成学习英语的习惯。

有句话“敏于思考，成于得法”。作为老师我们经常反思我们的教学活动，作为学生你也要反思自己的学习过程，成败取决于正确的学习方法。“点石成金”的典故大家都知道，那个穷书生很明智地要点石成金的方法。因为掌握了这种方法一辈子受用，它启示我们要重视掌握方法，要学会靠自己去学习。好的学习方法很多层面上来讲是好的英语学习习惯，培养一种英语素养，希望你们能把学习英语作为一种习惯来对待，就像我们生活中必不可少的吃饭穿衣一样，成为每天必须要做的一件事情，而且做的那么自然，如果能做到自然而然地每天去学英语，让英语学习成为你的习惯，那你肯定能成功，不是有话说行为养成习惯，习惯形成性格，性格决定命运!

现在大家都才初中，还有几年参加中考，或者高考，英语考试的重要性不言而喻。你要相信时间的力量，时间积累够了，你一定会取得进步。我记得我初中上英语课的时候，每一次老师教我们单词，我总会认认真真的看着老师的嘴巴，看她如何发音，可好奇了，有的时候并不会，就在课本上用汉语注释，在座的有谁也这样干过?嘿嘿，虽然大多数同学都这样做过，但我不提倡这样做，我还是建议把音标学会，然后自己学习发音。

我看到下面那个同学在抱怨说我把单词和课文都背了啊，但是还是没考好啊。我想告诉大家，背单词和背课文是学习英语必须要做的，虽然考试不直接考单词但是我们必须要做，要不然我们就没有学习英语的力量。就像吃饭一样，没有人拿你吃了多少饭来衡量你活得是否精彩，但我们必须吃饭，它是保证我们活着的基本物质。英语也是一样，所以一个学生背单词和课文是义不容辞的，任何学英语的人第一步都要这样做，这是一种积累。那么，如果你只要求你自己做最基本的事情那英语肯定不会好到哪里去，因为被单词和背课文只是一种酝酿，学英语要做的事情远远超过这些，例如，需要在交际中、在写作中、在阅读中练习运用语言，脱离这些就好比我们盖房子需要石头一样，我们永远都是在捡石头，捡得再多不拿去盖楼，永远见不到成果，自然也就没有成就感。所以我要送给大家3句话： 单词课文是保证我们活着的粮食 学习过程是保证我们活着的氧气 应用英语是保证我们活着的质量 英语学习，这是一个长期的过程，它包括了许多方面，单词，课文，语法，句子，很多很多，它是一点点累积起来的。

说了这么多，希望大家记住，任何事情都不是轻易能够得到的，他需要长期的努力，要经过专业的培训，给予及时纠正和指导。英语学习一定要培养良好的学习习惯，不懂就问，善于查字典，等等。

I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a host in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be accepted. But one of the panel members told me: "You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged." My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to complement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to hide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing.

As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humorous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. Hello, Dear teachers and fellow students.

It is my honor to be here on this beautiful Friday morning to share with

you my view on “Me- time”.

In my opinion，finding me-time is important. With the development of the

modern society, we students in China have more and more pressure. We have to

spare every minute to study very hard and join various kinds of out-of-class

training courses to improve ourselves. So we are really in lack of me-time which

is helpful to keep ourselves from being over-stressed、tired and worried.

I do not have as much fun as before and I always miss my childhood. Three

hours of homework and two piano lessons one day make me have hardly any me-time

to relax myself. I was once an active basketball player on my school team. But

now, basketball, my best friend, I haven’t touched it for almost two months. Me-

time seems to have become a luxury.

Last week, when I heard there was going to be a basketball match between

our school and No 1 Middle School, I was so excited that I rushed home and told

my parents the news. I asked my father, “ Dad, may I play basketball after

school ? The coach says I am the best guard in our school. If I join the school

basketball team, we are sure to beat No 1 Middle School this time.” My father

showed his dispproval and said, “ Of course you can’t . I’m disappointed at you.

Why do you have such a silly idea? Don’t forget to work hard on your schoolwork

and piano lessons.” In my parents’ points of view, playing basketball is a waste

of time.

As far as I’m concerned, the school assignment to the junior school

students is too heavy. To grow into healthy and well-rounded adults, we should

be allowed to have more me-time for relaxation. The pressure put on our students

by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically

and mentally.

My dear teachers, I hope you can assign less homework so we students can

enjoy a period of me-time. My dear parents, would you please not follow me and

remind me of study all the time? Please trust me that I will do my best. My dear

friends, why not stop for a while from your heavy homework and do anything you

like? It’s me-time. I do think, that a reduction of the current heavy load would

be beneficial to us students and to the society as a whole. Finding me-time will

make our life rich, colorful and rewarding.

How To Learn English!

Here are some tips which may help you to master the English Language!

Speak without Fear

The biggest problem most people face in learning a new language is their own fear. They worry that they won’t say things correctly or that they will look stupid so they don’t talk at all. Don’t do this. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it – again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.

Use all of your Resources

Even if you study English at a language school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the language learner it's perfect.

Surround Yourself with English

The absolute best way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English language radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .

Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible

There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second language before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the best schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become.

Watch English Films and Television

This is not only a fun way to learn but it is also very effective. By watching English films (especially those with English subtitles) you can expand your vocabulary and hear the flow of speech from the actors. If you listen to the news you can also hear different accents.

Listen to English Music

Music can be a very effective method of learning English. In fact, it is often used as a way of improving comprehension. The best way to learn though, is to get the lyrics (words) to the songs you are listening to and try to read them as the artist sings. There are several good internet sites where one can find the words for most songs. This way you can practice your listening and reading at the same time. And if you like to sing, fine.

Study As Often As Possible!

Only by studying things like grammar and vocabulary and doing exercises, can you really improve your knowledge of any language.

Do Exercises and Take Tests

Many people think that exercises and tests aren't much fun. However, by completing exercises and taking tests you can really improve your English. One of the best reasons for doing lots of exercises and tests is that they give you a benchmark to compare your future results with. Often, it is by comparing your score on a test you took yesterday with one you took a month or six months ago that you realize just how much you have learned. If you never test yourself, you will never know how much you are progressing. Start now by doing some of the many exercises and tests on this site, and return in a few days to see what you've learned. Keep doing this and you really will make some progress with English.

Record Yourself

Nobody likes to hear their own voice on tape but like tests, it is good to compare your tapes from time to time. You may be so impressed with the progress you are making that you may not mind the sound of your voice as much.

Listen to English

By this, we mean, speak on the phone or listen to radio broadcasts, audiobooks or CDs in English. This is different than watching the television or films because you can’t see the person that is speaking to you. Many learners of English say that speaking on the phone is one of the most difficult things that they do and the only way to improve is to practice.

Good morning. Today I will make a presentation on sincerity between volleyball game and me.

Volleyball that is a less popular sport than basketball and football, while more skillful is my favorite ball game. The game was invented in 1895 as a recreational pastime by American William G. His game, which he originally called Mintonette, quickly became popular, not only in the United States but also around the world.

Third, achievements made by Chinese women volleyball team inspired me so much. However money plays a significant role in our daily life. We can’t live without it because we have to use money to buy our daily necessities like food drinks clothes books and so on. And we also need money to pay for our houses and education.

All in all we should have a correct concept of money. We can’t live for money but take it as a tool leading a better life.

I don't think so. printed books won't be abandoned in such a short time. I admit that new technology is developing fast. Many advanced electronic products are gradually take the place of traditional tools. Just like in university, teachers like to use multimedia in class for it is quite convenient and efficient. However, for our student, it is not realistic to study completely by electronic products. There are many things need to recorded on books. Books are something meaningful and practical. I should say, in our country, printed books wouldn't be abandoned within 20 years at least for two reasons. Firstly, books are classical container of knowledge. They accompany human to advance. A student without books could be someway ridiculous. Secondly, our country haven't developed so strong to make every student study by computer or other forms of electronic tools. And even after 20 years, the possibility is also very small. I also think it is unnecessary because books are cheap but useful and still meaningful.

Here, Id like to share my own experience abroad with you. Several years ago, I was very lucky to he an opportunity to live in the Australia about half a month. Lost time is never found again. This is something which I learned very clearly last semester. I spent so much time fooling around that my grades began to suffer. I finally realized that something had to be done. It was time for a change.

Now I have a new plan for using my time wisely. I have set my alarm clock ahead half an hour. This will give me a head start on the day. I have also decided to keep a log of what I do and when I do it. Looking back on what I ve done will give me some ideas on how to reorganize my time.
