MY BACKGROUND

I was born in a small village of Shan Dong Province on April 4th, 1968. When I was young, my family was very poor, so I had to work to earn money to help my parents after class when I was in the middle school.

In 1986 I was admitted by University of International business and Economics (or: UIBE) to pursue a bachelor de GRE e in Economics. MY PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT:

After graduating from UIBE, I was employed as the assistant to the funding manager by China National Technical Import and Export Corporation. After reading a lot of related files, and analyzing the overall funding situation of the corporation, I found that the loan policy was not been put into effect. So we have thousands of millions RMB loan with very high interest rate while a large amount of cash in bank with very low interest rate was idle. I reported this to my supervisor, and then we studied and revised the loan policy. This revision saved the corporation approximately RMB thirty millions yuan. In order to raise the funding effectiveness, after one year’s hard work, I developed the internal banking system within the corporation based on the actual funding supply and need of the different divisions and projects. This internal banking system made full use of the corporation’ funding resources, and due to this, I was highly praised by the president of the corporation.

interview. Now allow me to give a brief self-introduction.

I’m ___, born in __. I am a teacher of College of Information Science and

Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. I entered this

university in 1997, majoring in Computer science and technology. After

graduation in 20_, I BECame a postgraduate student, and majored in Computer

software and theory, supervised by Professor ___. I receivd the master’s deGREe

and BECame a teacher in 20_.

Since I was a postgraduate student, I have been interested in scientific

research. In the past few years, I published more than 10 papers about the high

performance computing, the theory and application of Petri nets, and design and

analysis of algorithm. Furthermore, I am participating in the research of two

projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation. At the same time, I

undertake lots of teaching loads, more than 400 periods each year.

However, with the time going on, the more I studied and experienced, the

clearer I realized that I really need study further. Thus, I began to prepare

for the doctor‘s entrance examination last year. Owing to my hard work, I passed

the first examination. If I am given the chance of further study, I will work

hard to enrich my knowledge and make myself to be a well-qualified teacher.

There are several reasons for this question. First of all, I long for doing research in crop physiology throughout my life. It’s a pleasure to be with my favorite field for lifetime. I suppose this is the most important factor in my decision. Secondly, I have been deeply impressed by the academic atmosphere when I came here last time. In my opinion, as the most famous Agricultural school in our country, it provide people with enough room to get further enrichment . Last but not least, I think further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value. Life is precious. It is necessary to seize any chance for self-development, especially in this competitive modern world.
