people are proud of having a good friend. true friendship must be sincere and

True friendship should be based on mutual understanding, not on mutual

benefit. moreover, both must also have similar ideals. if not, their friendship

still cannot last long. sometimes, people have good friends when they are young

and studying in school. however, after graduation, when they are working in the

society, their friendship will soon come to an end.

Mutual understanding doesn’t always mean that we should know every thing of

our friends. it means that they have similar ideals and trust each other. on the

other hand, doing similar things can build up the friendship.

In fact, friendship isn’t always easily kept. when you want to keep a

friend, you should treat him or her like you want to be treated. keep the

secrets that your friend tells you. keep your promise with your friend. share

things with your friend. stick up for your friend. we should try our best to

protect the friendship from being hurt. as an old saying goes, “friendship

cannot stand always on one side.” true friendship should be able to stand all

kinds of tests.

Because of friendship, our lives are full of happiness. therefore, the more

friends we have, the more pleasure we can share with them. let’s say “thank you”

to our friends for their love and care. no matter where we go or who we become,

never forget to keep the beautiful friendship!

over the past two years, as i have moved to break the betrayal of my own silences and to speak from the burnings of my own heart, as i have called for radical departures from the destruction of vietnam, many persons have questioned me about the wisdom of my path. at the heart of their concerns this query has often loomed large and loud: "why are you speaking about the war, dr. king?" Now the dream came true. i’m standing here with all my body and my heart put in sports. so do the people from all over the world to here at the olympic games. it’s the olympic games that make us together. we are here for a big day of sport; we are here for a dream of sports. we are here for a spirit of sport that encourages us to face the difficulties of today and tomorrow.

牧童和狼

A Shepherd-boy, who tended his flock not far from a village, used to amuse himself at times in crying out"wolf !wolf!"Twice or thrice his trick succeeded .The whole village came running out to his assistance when all the return they got was to be laughed at for their pains .

At last one day the wolf came indeed .The boy cried out in earnest. But his neighbors, supposing him to be at his old sport, paid no heed to his cries, and the wolf devoured the sheep.

So the boy learned, when it was too late, that liars are not believed even when they tell the truth.

But defeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it and learn why you failed.

Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only does defeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such a compelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull it away, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength every time you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you can accomplish with it far more than you are capable of.

As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library and the others.

We Are The World ,We Are The Future

Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.

We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. 大家好！我今天演讲的题目是——爱在点滴，今生无悔！记得冰心老人告诉过我们：“有了爱，便有了一切，有了爱，才有教育的先机。”我们在座的今天选择了教育，当了教师，就拥有了一份爱的艺术，那就是宽容、鼓励、提醒，我们的职业就像绵绵的春雨，“随风潜入夜，润物细无声。”一个鼓励的眼神、一句亲切的话语，都会让我们的弟子倍受鼓舞，获得无穷的信心。

细细回味，我在教育战线上已度过了数个春秋，微笑过、哭泣过、感动过、彷徨过，带过低年级，带过高年级，在不断地总结分析中，我找到了属于自己的宝典——那就是一颗爱学生的心，一切因爱而生，一切从爱出发。我有责任和义务教弟子知识，更要培养他们做一个道德高尚、品行端正的人，当我怀揣爱生如子的心和他们在一起时，我就感到无比的轻松和快乐；当他们不经意的犯错时，我会诚恳地指出；当他们情绪低落时，我会用眼神和语言鼓励；当他们身体不适时，我会像妈妈去关爱；当他们遇到解决不了的困难时，我会伸出热情的手去帮助。点石成金的爱，是世界上最伟大的爱，我把爱镶在他们的举手投足间，嵌在他们的一颦一笑中，洒在他们的心灵里。

七年前，怀揣着美丽的梦想，我踏上这条充满希望的阳光之旅。漫漫长路，一路走来，虽有山重水复疑无路的困惑，但更多的时候是柳暗花明又一村的惊喜。七年的辛勤耕耘，七年的默默守望，使我深深的喜爱着教师这一平凡而充实的职业。

清晨，当黎明的曙光射进教室，我已静候在三尺讲台旁聆听孩子们琅琅的读书声，那是天底下最动听的乐章，而我仿佛在享受人世间最美的旋律；黄昏，踏着最后一抹儿夕阳，我目送他们安然的离去，我的一天就这样结束了。夜晚灯光下，看着孩子那稚嫩的笔迹，在我严格要求之中，逐渐成熟起来，我便感到：这就是我人生最大地追求与安慰。

然而，工作的道路并非一帆风顺，班里淘气韧性、不求上进、学习成绩一落千丈自暴自弃的学生时常有之，他们常常使我头疼万分，不知所措。但身为人师的这颗心告诉我：不要放弃！每一朵花都有盛开的理由，每一颗草都有泛绿的时候。用爱去宽容他们，呵护他们，赋予他们怒放的生命。我相信：野百合也有美丽的春天。

七年的工作实践，使我对教师这个职业有了更深的感悟，特别是做为一名班主任，既要有严师的风范，又要有慈母的情怀。人生最大的不幸莫过于失去母爱的痛苦。今年的正月十五，当我们沉浸在合家团聚的欢庆时刻，而年幼的他却承受着失去母亲的悲痛，我心里在痛恨这位年轻的母亲自私冷酷、不负责任之余，更多的时候是对他充满着忧虑与同情。我该用什么方式来抚慰这颗受伤的心呢？开学那天，他一如既往地来到学校，当我真正地面对他时，我觉得一切言语都显得那么苍白无力。沉默了好久，我说：“到老师跟前来好吗？”我牵着他的手，望着他那无助的眼神，那颗幼小的心灵现在也许还无法丈量生与死的距离。我轻轻地告诉他，你知道吗？你不在的这几天，我们都很想你，同学们有很多知心话想对你说，你一定要坚强！你是男子汉！几句简单的话，使他顿时泪如雨下。他哭着说：“会的，老师，同学们，我一定会坚强！”在以后的日子里，学习上我们时时关心他，生活中，我们处处照顾他。我惊喜地发现：久违的阳光又一次回到他的脸上。

背负记忆的行囊，一路采撷他人的野果琼浆，只为自己能够成长为教坛的一颗长青之树。一代名师魏书生老师那诙谐幽默的谈吐、那渊博的学识，让我崇拜不已。大灾面前，谭千秋老师那无悔的抉择，用男儿血肉之躯托起人间最美丽的彩虹，他是我们挥之不去的记忆。一个是生者永无止境的燃烧，一个是死者用一种舍己的大爱共同谱写对人民教育的无限忠诚，更奏响了新时代教育嘹亮的凯歌，他们的精神如春风化雨般影响着我，更鞭策着我。

是呀！既定目标，行无彷徨。平凡之中，更能彰显英雄本色。让我们勇敢地去做叶的事业吧！让春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干再一次释放它的魅力，让教师天底下最光辉的事业再次镀上它金色的光环。让师者，传道，授业，解惑这种至死不渝的情怀将滚滚红尘中种种诱惑淹没，更让那些功名利禄随着一江春水付诸东流。我坚信：一支粉笔，三尺讲台，一颗爱生如子，爱校如家的心，足以让我的人生写满精彩！

and teachers in it.It’s famous for its achievement and its beautiful

environment.

On the playground, there are all kinds of plants in turns.And if you stand

a place, you can see lots of “NOTES” and “SIGNS”.For example, “Be quite,

please.” “Don’t litter the rubbish.” And so on.It makes you feel our school

sacred.In the evening, all the lights are turned on.Everywhere are clear like

My School Life

My life the most unforgettable is my primary school. Because I do not have to early to go to school every day。 Need not very tired. And also very early from school in the afternoon. Work is very less. Knowledge is also simple. My primary school life is so colorful.

I have many dreams, such as I am rich in the future. Therefore, I can buy all what I want. But my greatest dream is that I want to be an astronaut. Our country develops fast and our space make great progress in the last several decades. It has great achievements. All of our country are proud of it. Therefore, I want to be one of this amazing area. In order to make my dream come true, I must work hard now. So that I can go to a good university to learn more knowledge. I hope my dream can come true one day.

Dear teachers, students ：

The title of my speech today is: "protect the environment, start from the

spot."

electric fan, additional variety of some trees and flowers, so to protect the

environment and help?

Today as the development of the technology people live a much better life than before the average wage is promoted highly. The economy develops at the cost of polluting the environment we can see the pollution everywhere like the river water is dirty the situation is so serious that we must take some action to control the environmental pollution. First we should not throw away the rubbish whenever we have rubbish at hand we should keep the habit to throw it into the dustbin sometimes the garbage can be recycled. Second the government should make some measure to punish the industry which is not deal with the pollution well. With the government’s intervention the businessmen will pay special attention to the pollution and dare not to ignore it. Protecting the environment needs everyone’s effort to ourselves and our offspring’s health we must take action to protect the environment.

Me and my Fears

Honorable judges, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen:

It is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful Saturday morning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the English language.

About a year and a half ago, I took part in my very first English Speech Contest. When I stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly at me, I could hardly speak. I stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling in vain for the right thing to say. My fears had paralyzed me.

While my passion for English has never changed, I lost my courage to speak in public. When my professor again encouraged me to take part in this Competition, I said “no.” I couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. He looked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. I will never forget his words. “Look,” he said, “We all have our fears, and you have yours. You could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid to ever play again. Running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. A winner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.”

I spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. Then I made the bravest and wisest decision of my life: I would face my fears – and take part in the competition!

As it turned out, my dear old professor was right. Now, here I am, once again standing before a microphone. My heart is beating fast, and my mouth is dry, but most importantly, I have faced my fears -- and that makes all the difference!

战胜恐惧

尊敬的评委，各位来宾，女士们先生们，我很荣幸在这个美妙的星期六早上来到这里，与你们分享我生命中一段特别的经历。

大概一年半以前，我参加了生平第一次演讲比赛。站在麦克风前，面对观众们期待的眼神，我竟紧张的说不出话来。那一刻，我是多么无助啊!

我对于英语的挚爱从未改变，但却从此失去了面对公众演讲的勇气。当老教授鼓励我参加希望英语风采大赛时，我拒绝了。他直视我的眼睛，说了一番令我终身难忘的话。“你瞧，”他说，“我们都有自己的恐惧。你可能会在一场篮球比赛中扭脚，并从此害怕再打球。你只能用行动去克服自己的恐惧，逃避是没有用的。生活中的成功者往往是永不放弃的人。”

我花了一整天时间思考他的话。 然后，我做出了一个勇敢而明智的决定： 我要参加中央电视台第五届“希望之星”英语风采大赛!

老教授是对的。我发挥出了自己的水平，一路杀进了全国总决赛。此时此刻，当我再一次站在了麦克风前，仍然心跳不止，但更重要的是，我终于能够勇敢地面对我的恐惧了，而这已足够了。

utside Games

There are many outside game like running, skating, swimming, horse-racing, hunting, flying kites, walking-races. Of course, football is an out game. The Definition of a Gentleman

何谓君子

Hence it is, that it is almost a definition of a gentleman, to say he is one who never inflicts pain. This description is both refined and, as far as it goes, accurate. He is mainly occupied in merely removing the obstacles which hinder the free and unembarrassed action of those about him; and he concurs with their movements rather than takes the initiative himself. His benefits may be considered as parallel to what are called comforts or conveniences in arrangements of a personal nature: like an easy chair or a good fire, which do their part in dispelling cold and fatigue, though nature provides both means of rest and animal heat without them.

He is never mean or little in his disputes, never takes unfair advantage, never mistakes personalities or sharp sayings for arguments or insinuates evil which he dare not say out. From a long sighted prudence, he observes the maxim of the ancient sage, that we should ever conduct ourselves towards our enemy as if he were one day to be our friend. He has too much good sense to be affronted at insults, he is too well employed to remember injuries, and too engaged to bear malice. He is patient, tolerant, and resigned, on philosophical principles; he submits to pain, because it is inevitable, to the death of family members, because it is irreparable, and to death, because it is his destiny. If he engages in controversy of any kind, his disciplined intellect preserves him from the blundering discourtesy of better, though less educated minds; who, like blunt weapons, tear and hack instead of cutting clean, who mistake the point in argument, waste their strength on trifles, misconceive their adversary, and leave the question more involved than they find it.

He may be right or wrong in his opinion, but he is too clear headed to be unjust; he is as simple as he is forcible, and as brief as he is decisive. Nowhere shall we find greater candor, consideration, indulgence: he throws himself into the minds of his opponents, he accounts for their mistakes. He knows the weakness of human reason as well as its strength, its province and its limits.

A Beautiful Doll

Tina is a lovely girl. She has a lot of dolls. One of these dolls is very beautiful. She has long blond hair and wears a white dress. The little girl likes her very much. She called her “Sandy”. You would forget all the sad things and become happy when you see her.

Tina tried to teach Sandy to speak, but she failed. When she is free, Tina always made clothed for her. When she is unhappy or met with some difficulties, Tina talked to her, because they are close friends. What a lovely girl she is! Do you like it, too?
