As the saying goes, what wakes you up in the morning is not your alarm clock, but you dream. The future is unknowable, but dream give us the direction .In some moment maybe the reality is harsh and you are suffering much. flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long

night of captivity.

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is

still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly

crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one

hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst

of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is

still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile

in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling

condition.

in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the

architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and

the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which

every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be

guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of

happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note

insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred

obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back

marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice

is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great

vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand

the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce

urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to

take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark

and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is

the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the

time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid

rock of brotherhood.

it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and

to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the

negro's legitimate discontent will not pauntil there is an invigorating autumn

of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a

beginning.

those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be

content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to busineas usual.

there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted

his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the

foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm

threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the proceof gaining our

rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to

satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterneand

hatred.

we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and

discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical

violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting

physical force with soul force.

the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not

lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as

evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny

is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our

freedom.

we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall

march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of

civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as

our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels

of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as

the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can

never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in

new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not

satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and

righteousnelike a mighty stream

i am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and

tribulations. some of you have come fresh from narrow cells. some of you have

come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of

persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. you have been the

veterans of creative suffering. continue to work with the faith that unearned

suffering is redemptive.

go back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to georgia, go back to

louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that

somehow this situation can and will be changed. let us not wallow in the valley

of despair.

i say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and

frustrations of the moment, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in

the american dream.

i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true

meaning of its creed: "we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are

created equal."

i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of former

slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a

freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire. let freedom ring

from the mighty mountains of new york. let freedom ring from the heightening

alleghenies of pennsylvania!

let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of colorado!

let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of california!

but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia!

let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee!

let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of mississippi. from

every mountainside, let freedom ring.

when we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every

hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day

when all of god's children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles,

protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of

the old negro spiritual, "free at last! free at last! thank god almighty, we are

free at last!"

As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time .

I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Sometimes I found it very hard to give a certain reply . “ I want to be a doctor .” “ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous . But I never think they are far away .

How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation .

My dream job will be working in one of the biggest international accounting firm as an accountant. I want to be an accountant because I love mathematics and business so much. Also, being an accountant can help me to explore my knowledge of business and provide me a board range of network among the business world. I need to do a lot in order to achieve my goal. First, I have to get an undergraduate degree in accounting from college. Then I might either to go graduate school for a more advanced degree in accounting or get prepare for the CPA exam. Everybody have a dream, because we’re dreamers. In our heart, there is a

colorful dream. Sometimes the dream is perfect, sometimes it’s special,

sometimes it’s sweet, sometimes it’s yummy.

In my dream, there are some children. I always play games with them and

enjoy ourselves. There are so many candies, too. Blue candies, pink candies,

orange candies, apple candies…How delicious! In my dream, there is a special

sky. In our world, the sky is blue, but the sky of my dream is pink, some angels

are having fun there. In my dream, white bird can fly high, flowers can sing

songs, frogs have a jump race, tomatoes are blue, potatoes are yellow, all the

things are different.

In my dream, Chinese people, Korean people, Japanese people, Italian

people, Spanish people, American people and Russian people are hand in hand. All

the people smile for ever. It is a balanced world. .

In my dream, everything is wonderful, but our world isn’t like it. So we

must like my dream, to let our world get more beautiful!

Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid , my dream was even to

have a candy shop of my own .But now ,when I am 16 years old ,standing here ,my

dreams have already changed a lot.

I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were

playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story

.I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the

strong wind. Nothing could stop me ,because of a wonderful call from my heart --

to be an athlete. Yeah ,of course ,I'm an athlete, I'm so proud of that all the

time .

When I was 10 years old ,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was

really hard ,I couldn't bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe

that "God only help those who help themselves". During those hard days, I find I

was growing more quickly than others of the same age. To be an athlete is my

most correct choice. But, I quite like my team after entering high school

because of a silly excuse. I really didn't want to stop my sports career

anyway.

Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties

of yesterday ,today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply

rooted in my soul.

I have a dream that one day, I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to

be.

I have a dream that one day, I can go back to my dream sports and join the

national team.

I have a dream that one day ,I can stand on the highest place at the

Olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me. I will tell everyone that

I'm so proud to be a Chinese athlete!

This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!

With this faith, I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain ,never

give up !

So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory

to ring .I must be the one!

In my imagination, I'm a bird ,a magical bird. I carry my dreams all with

me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains ,though the forests ,over the

sea, to the sun ,the warmest place in the aerospace!

Everyone has their own dreams, I am no

exception. This is my dream for five years. I grew up love swimming, correct

posture, swim fast, heard a lot of praise, some said to I taught them to swim!

From then on, the dream was born, so I keep practice every day...

My effort is to one day be able to not only when athletes, in the crowd

Good morning !

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a

teacher....

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our

life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a

dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks

and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green

grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh

and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment

can bring me great satisfaction.

I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and

cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness

with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real

communication of heart to heart.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to

some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast

Dream likes a beautiful flower. Different people have different dreams.They

make the earth colorful and wonderful. A dream is a target in life, in which it

can give people power. It can show people the directions and final

destinations.

I have three dreams. My first dream is that I wish I could go to college

some day, which is also the one of many other students' dreams. Going to college

for further education can not only enrich our knowledge, but also teach us how

to behave better. I always imagine that the college life must be very

interesting. This dream gives me energy to study harder and harder. Now I'm

trying my best to make it come true. Sure, I have enough confidence to realize

my dream.

My second dream is becoming an excellent doctor. I always dream that I

could turn a doctor like Bai Qiuen, so that I could cure a lot of patients, help

them get rid of sick devil, let them lead a healthy and happy life, and finally

I will feel happy, too.

My third dream is that all the people together with the surroundings can

live in perfect harmony. There are no quarreling, no cheating, and no wars in
