一、瑞士研究生留学条件

1、学历条件

就读瑞士公立大学必须满足每一所大学自己规定的学历条件。

2、语言条件

申请人必须参加瑞士公立大学举行的德语、法语语言考试(这种考试可以在到了瑞士以后进行，考试方式也许就是一个教授跟你谈话);

一、信息工程

Two of my main influences during the past few years have been from both

English and History, and this is why I wish to study them as a Joint Honours

degree.

Throughout Secondary School my interest and curiosity about English has

stretched beyond the A level syllabus. Reading a wide range of books from

classics like Great Expectations to contemporary novels such as Monica Ali’s

Brick Lane has allowed English to become more than just a sixth form subject,

and transformed it into something which I find both intense and exhilarating.

The role English plays in communication is something I also find deeply

fascinating as both a reader and a writer, as its impact on society is colossal.

In a world where both the media and politics use language tools to their

advantage there appears to be no limit to English’s influence, and no limit to

what remains to be discovered. Outside of my academic studies, I have had time

to enjoy English in the form of plays and theatre texts through taking part

amateur dramatic productions. This has helped develop my understanding, as it

has allowed me an alternative perspective of literary pieces. Although I have

enjoyed both my English Literature and English Language A Level courses, I would

not feel satisfied to end my study of English here, as I have only just begun to

uncover some of the many things further study would reveal.

History is also something I find engrossing, as its foundations have

influenced our society’s outlook. Although History is learning about the past, I

find it relevant to where we are today as previous events determine our future.

Although cliché, the phrase ‘history repeats itself’ is often quite accurate as

old events can give a greater insight into current debate and reforms in

society, something which I find extremely absorbing. Trips to places abroad have

also fuelled my want for more historical knowledge. After visiting the First

World War Battlefields I realised there were areas I had already studied which I

would like to go into in greater depth. Studying English and History as a degree

would give me the opportunity to do more developed independent studies in

specific areas.

Whilst Historians use English to portray a positive or negative view of a

series of events and analyse sources, those interested in English Language and

Literature seek a greater depth of insight and understanding of context through

Historical events. This is why studying both English and History as a Joint

Honours degree would certainly be beneficial to my understanding of both

subjects. Both English and History have allowed me to develop my ability to form

an argument and have strengthened my analytical thinking, skills which are both

vital in Secondary Education, a career I wish to pursue.

Outside of school I have been able to develop my personal skills through

working as a volunteer within the local community. For the past 5 years I have

been a Young Leader with children aged 5-7 as part of Girlguiding UK. In 2006 I

also completed 200 Millennium Volunteer hours working with young people from

less advantaged backgrounds as part of Forest Day Camps, a scheme set up by the

YMCA. Within school I have been part of the Senior Students team, which included

helping younger students in the school library. I have also been an active

member of the Redbridge Youth Theatre Workshop, and enjoy horse riding; both of

which have helped me develop confidence and independence through extracurricular

activities.

I relish the challenge Higher Education represents. As the first member of

my family to have this opportunity, I feel university is something which just

cannot be missed.

In my opinion, the Financial Engineering is a kind of creative technology

to the Financial Instruments, Financial Means and system. It used to balance the

benefits and venture as an interesting interdisciplinary subject. It covers many

fields such as mathematics, computer science and finance, in which the

mathematics and mathematical modeling are the two main aspects of the Financial

Engineering. The Investment Portfolio Theory of Markowitz, the capital asset

pricing model of the Sharp, Option Pricing Model of Black-Scholes and “Binomial”

model of Co_ can best reflect the critical position of the two subjects.

I am glad to choose mathematics and applied mathematics. Three years’ study

had deepened my understanding of them, especially of mathematical modeling. (It

still occurs to me when I went to attend the class of __ department given by

Professor Jiang qiyuan in Tsinghua University for the first time. “1 kilogram of

flour added with 1 kilogram of stuffing can make 100 dumplings, but what if the

stuffing is more than 1 kilogram?” He used a very simple, vivid and interesting

e_ample which aroused my interest and led me into the mathematical modeling

world.

The first time I kissed the mathematical modeling was in the summer

vacation of 2005, when I got a good opportunity to attend the mathematical

modeling training organized by our school. Seasoned mathematics teachers told me

what on earth the mathematical modeling is through some e_isting e_amples, in

which the one about SARS impressed me most. In 2003, SARS broke out and shrouded

rapidly to the whole world, which imperiled our economic development and

people’s living. Therefore, study on its spreading regularity and building the

mathematical modeling for predicting and controlling its e_tension had become

the “Archimedes Heels” for all mathematicians… So, the Logistic regression has

been carved in my memory. Two weeks’ training has presented me with a kind of

passion and calm thinking much more than just those classical mathematical

models. As the patron saint of our human-beings, the e_istence of Mathematics

and mathematical modeling are maintaining our subsistence and development. Then,

when SARS ran riot, when we are suffering from the pain of AIDS, what can I do

as a mathematics and mathematical modeling lover who loves life so much?

Pocketed with this passion and thinking, I tasted to use mathematical

modeling into practice and solve the practical problems by attending the

National College Mathematical Modeling Contest with the other two schoolmates on

behalf of our college. It required us to evaluate the water quality of

Changjiang River according to the data, through which we had to analyze the

water pollution in every region and predict the trend of it in the future.

Finally we had to bring out the plan against it. It was really a challenge for

us towards flood of data and estimations as long as 17 pages. We tried almost a

whole day only to filter those data and take the evaluations into comprehensive

account. Pulling down various models we had built before, we were so defeated

that we wanted to give up many times. However, we finally found the satisfactory

model thanks to our encouragement to each other which armed us with full

strength to go further.We managed to evaluate the water quality by Composite

inde_ model, which could not only represent the evaluation factors, but also

reflect the main impacts of the contaminations to the water pollution. We

predicted the future water pollution through multiple linear regressions fitting

and brought out the plan against it by building linear optimization model.

Finally, we got the second prize in Beijing for our thesis. Three days’ and

nights’ modeling e_perience had cooled our passion and gave us even more calm

thinking instead. The creation of the mathematical modeling, along with the

successful solution to the problems through it lied on the solid mathematics

foundation, strong modeling ability, accumulation of the knowledge on different

fields, unique creative ideas and creativity.

The e_perience from this contest further aroused my interest in

mathematics. I began to pay more attention to its application as well as

learning the theories. In addition, I tried to catch every opportunity to take

part in the practical mathematical modeling. My efforts finally rewarded when I

was in the first term as a junior. I had a chance to participate in the 3-day

electrician mathematical modeling practice-----classifying the sports programs

for a big sports meeting. Being familiar with the Graph Theory, I immediately

found the way to solve the problems by seeking the best Hamilton circuit line.

Facing the nearly 8.7 billion data files with different orders much more than

that on the National Mathematical Modeling Contest, I spent a long time on

Algorithm without any perfect result. I wasn’t defeated towards this case, but

so e_cited instead that I could have such a chance to challenge and improve

myself. Looking up dozens of files, I finally made a perfect end of the practice

by using the Genetic Algorithm into full account. It needs both a successful

model and an effective arithmetic to solve these problems. , which largely

shortened the operation time and improved the operation result. I learnt a lot

from this practice. I came to know that to build successful mathematics modeling

that can effectively solve the practical problems, we must take the operation

cost.

Summarizing my failures in the mathematical modeling electrician practice

and proceeding from my interest in this field, I began to think of collaborating

on the “Mathematical Modeling Saloon” with several students from mathematics and

computer departments, taking the Computer Algorithms and mathematical modeling

as the two themes of the book. Every Tuesday afternoon, we would organized those

students interested in this field to study and e_change the ideas and arithmetic

by imparting e_perience, sharing what we learnt, pondering together and

discussing with each other. Both the traditional transportation & storage

problems and the modern Stimulated Annealing Arithmetic (SAA), Ant Algorithm

have ever been the topic of our discussion, from which I have learnt many

thinking styles and methods to the problems from the students both in

mathematics and computer department. So far, I am e_cited to see that this

activity is still in the wind with more and more participants and it aroused a

learning upsurge in our college.

Recommended by my teacher, I have participated in the Teaching Reform

Program of Mrs. _ing yongli----the results analysis of “Improving the

mathematics teaching quality on class”. Mrs. _ing, along with some other

mathematics teachers e_perienced the class mutual activities in 2004 to 2005

with the character data files in form of paper investigations. For this style of

data files, I finally used the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a creative

challenge instead of the fuzzy mathematical quantitative analysis models, which

firstly knocked my mind. By quantitating data and using the AHP, I succeeded in

analyzing how the overall quality of the teachers and their teaching skills work

in improving the mathematics teaching quality on class, from which we got the

conclusion that the teaching skills and the way to put forward questions on

class play the most important role in the class mutual activities. Besides, Mrs.

_ing collaborated with me on the thesis named “The Application of Analytic

Hierarchy Processinto the Evaluation of Class Mutual Activities”. Both of us

were satisfied with this thesis and contributed it to many presses to be

published.

Similar with the mathematical modeling, the soul of the Financial

Engineering is also the creativity. Therefore, the perfect application of the

mathematics and mathematical modeling into the Financial Engineering once more

surged my enthusiasm in this field. Furthermore, the Financial Engineering plays

the important part in people’s living, social stability and the national

development, which is my original intention to choose this field I think.

Since studying Chemistry and Design & Technology at A level, my desire

to develop my knowledge of chemistry, incorporating the use of computers with

technology, has increased. I wish to study in greater depth the potential

interrelations of these subjects and look forward to the unique creative

possibilities that a greater knowledge and understanding of them will bring. I

wish to study both theoretical and practical applications of chemistry,

computers and computer aided technology at a higher level.

I have pursued two work experience placements, which have confirmed my

interest in chemistry and computer technology. They showed me, albeit in a

limited way, the interface between pure science and computer systems. I worked

in an analytical laboratory at I.C.I., analysing chemicals (e.g. using an infra

red spectrometer and gas chromatograph) and using databases. This improved my

computer literacy as well as developing other skills, such as responsibility,

teamwork, communication, listening skills and working to deadlines. I have

completed a CLAIT course and am interested in home computing and the Internet. I

have also helped to build a web site. As part of my Design and Technology course

I have been developing my CAD skills extensively by producing a range of 3D

models in Pro-Desktop. I was also rewarded with an 'outstanding effort'

certificate in Design and Technology, further outlining my passion and

dedication for the subject.

Out of school, I have a wide variety of interests. My main passions are

skiing and table tennis. In table tennis I have achieved a creditable national

ranking, and I am captain of the County team. In May 2001 I was given the

opportunity to compete in Finland as part of the ISO games. I have competed in

numerous national competitions and recently captained a team in the Junior

British League. I am now commencing a course, which will leave me as a qualified

Level Two Coach. Within school I have been school team captain. I am also in the

as showing me the dedication that is required to learn and develop skills. I

My own personal experience of journalism started young, my dad used to

write for a magazine and take me with him when he went to interview people,

since then I have been fascinated with the industry. When I was 14 I was lucky

enough to get a work experience placement at “News International” in Wapping. I

got to work on the websites of “FiredUp.com”, “Revolver.com” and “Page3.com” as

well as have a tour of the offices of “The Sun”, “News Of The World” and “The

chain stretches far beyond any living creature's lifespan, beyond words and

imagination. As we progress, we find ourselves facing the most curious of

questions. But whilst curiosity is one of the main traits of human beings, its

power and influence are often overwhelmed by our defense mechanisms. Thus some

questions, the most vital to us at the moment, might find their solutions.

Others, however, might not. It is up to us to decide whether we are willing to

stop on one place for a while, or continue our journey only in hopes of

stumbling upon the same situation later on. One thing is certain - no matter the

choice, once faced with a riddle, a person is likely to remain haunted by it

until the end of their lives. If anyone argued with me on that manner, I would

gladly say that what we see or even perceive is no more than a tenth of what we

carry inside. A constant search for the truth may not be on everyone's agenda,

their fates. A diversity to be truly thankful for, and what is more, a diversity

I would like to study thoroughly. Because I, as Jack Kerouac, have found this

simple truth: "The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to

live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time".

But here I shall add... Aren't we all?

一般来说，在英国攻读大学荣誉（学士学位只需要3年，大多数硕士学位的取得，只需要1年的时间，而其他国家的硕士一般都需要2―3年。所以选择去英国读书，无形中节约了金钱和时间。

这里列举几个英国专业院校以及专业方向：

英国皇家艺术学院(rca)：室内设计，服务设计，平面设计，视觉传达，服装设计，摄影，当代实践，绘画，建筑，版画复刻等。

伦敦艺术大学(ual):伦敦艺术大学是欧洲最大的艺术，设计，媒体传达和表演艺术的教育学校，是由六大艺术，设计与传播学院组成。分别是：坎伯韦尔学院，中央圣马丁学院，切尔西艺术学院，伦敦传媒学院，伦敦时装学院和温布尔登学院。每个学院开设的课程都有自己的特色，比如中央圣马丁学院是所有设计师梦寐以求的艺术殿堂，比如切尔西艺术学院是伦敦最负盛名的艺术设计学院之一，开设的设计课程最全面。

格拉斯哥艺术学院(gsa):格拉斯哥艺术学院是苏格兰地区最古老独立的艺术院校，艺术设计名列世界十强名校，尤其出色的视觉创意学科。格拉斯哥艺术学院一共开设26门课程，分别分布在设计学院，艺术学院和mackintosh建筑学院里面。并且该学院所有本科和研究生学位课程均得到格拉斯哥大学授予学位认证。这意味着学生毕业后将会获得世界前一百的名校毕业证。

爱丁堡艺术院校(eca)：爱丁堡艺术学院与爱丁堡大学在20xx年8月1日合并，学生毕业证是有爱丁堡大学颁发。爱丁堡大学是qs排名前20的世界级名校，对于学生来说这是相当值得骄傲的。爱丁堡艺术学院包含的课程也是相当丰富，比如艺术，设计，建筑，还有艺术史等专业。

英国的艺术学科包罗万象，不单单有常规的艺术专业，比如设计管理，创新管理，时尚管理等和商科相结合的课程。这可以培养出很多全面的人才，从而直接拓宽学生的就业面。

比如说，一个会画画的学生，出入社会以后不单单只能做一个画家或者老师。如果在研究生阶段学生选择了艺术管理这种课程，那么在就业上就有很多选择，比如博物馆馆长，画廊经营者，艺术鉴定师，艺术品投资商等等。这对于自我的发展是有很大帮助的。

比如说爱丁堡艺术学院毕业以后是拿的爱丁堡大学的毕业证，全世界排名前20。格拉斯哥艺术学院毕业是授予格拉斯哥大学的学位，全世界排名前80.。而不参与综合排名的皇家艺术学院或者伦敦艺术大学这些专业院校在行业内都是顶尖的，不存在不认可或者认可度低的情况。

另外，刚刚提到的交叉学科在综合院校都有开设。比如说曼彻斯特大学，南安普顿大学，利兹大学，兰卡斯特大学等等。这些学校不论是从排名还是行业类的认可度都是顶尖的。学生可以根据自己在意的方面来选择去综合院校或者专业院校。选择可谓是十分丰富。

大家都知道英语现在是世界交流必备的语言，也是我们从小学都开始接触的一种语言，那么在英语的学习上，我们可能会更容易上手，也是我们必须要掌握的一门语言。从另一方面来说，如果学生选择去小语种的国家，就算有英语授课也免不了在生活中需要学习小语种。

这对于学生来说又是一种挑战，不仅要准备学术材料，还要准备重头开始学习另一种语言。而在英国学习就不存在这个问题，学生接触的都是纯正的英式英语，不论是学习还是生活上，这对于语言水平也会有很大的提高。

英国是一个艺术氛围非常浓厚，每年大大小小的艺术展览不计其数，一般集中在伦敦地区。时尚类的有香奈儿艺术展，伦敦时装周。像绘画类的有各种大师的巡回展览，或者博物馆收藏的最经典的画作。

更值得一提的是一年一度的爱丁堡艺术节，不管是街头艺术人还是行业类的大咖都会参加这一大盛事。艺术学生们更是可以零距离感受这种氛围。因此在英国学习艺术，不管你是伦敦这种现代化到处都是博物馆的大都市还是充满古典韵味的爱丁堡都可以近距离在艺术的世界里遨游。

想必我们都清楚，大部分中国学生在技术上或者专业能力上都是属于比较优秀的，但是为什么我们需要去国外学习。我们学习一些什么?就个人而言，很多学生想去英国都是想学习英国的创新思维，学习行业类最新的理念。从英国大学的课程设置来看，大部分院校都会放创新的课程给学生选择。

有些学校并且还会设定为必修课。尤其值得一提的是，申请需要作品集的同学，在作品中尤其要体现自己的思维方式。这是很重要的闪光点，也有可能是是否能拿到offer的决定因素。

I have chosen the courses listed because I feel that these will benefit me

most in my goal to become a primary school teacher.

After experiencing the BA (Hons.) Performance: Theatre at Saint Johns

College, York, I decided it was not the course I wanted to do, and that a

Primary Education degree would be a better preparation for teaching rather than

a one year PGCE course. I have always held aspirations to become a teacher,

specifically in the primary sector. Since 1999, I have held voluntary work

experience placements at Holbrook Primary School, amounting to two and a half

terms work in total.

After withdrawing from York, I decided to take the opportunity to extend my

experience in schools on a voluntary basis at a local Special School (Beacon

Hill Special School, Ipswich). This resulted in my being offered a full-time

paid position as a Special Support Assistant. I have found myself inspired by

the challenge of encouraging these young people to realise their potential and

this has further cemented my decision to become a teacher.

I have a particular interest in drama. During High School I was a member of

the Wolsey Youth Theatre in Ipswich. This involved me in various productions;

The Railway Children, Watership Down, A Christmas Carol, and Roald Dahls Boy. I

also participated in High School productions. I think that these skills are very

important, because I have already found that drama can be a useful educational

tool, especially in the early stages of learning.

I have completed my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, which I found a great

challenge, but very rewarding. I also hold Grade 5 in Trombone, Grade 1 cornet,

and Award 6 in trampolining.
