Dear teachers:

I’m very glad to say something here. Today, my topic is -----I wish.

Every person has many beautiful dreams, so do I.

I wish that I have a good friend who has magic power like Dora A Dream. He

could give me anything which I want, such as Maliang’s paintbrush.

I wish I could use it to help others. Such as I could draw the coats for

the poor men when it’s cold, I could draw the food for them when they’re hungry,

and I could draw a house for them, too.

I wish that my dream will come true someday.

Thank you.

When I was a naughty boy, may be because of theinfluence of the film."Xiao Bing Zhang Ga",my dreamwas to be a soldier just like Zhang Ga. I thought if Iwas a soldier, I should be able to swim, dive andclimb trees as he did. It seemed to be verywonderful. So I began to learn swimming, diving andclimbing trees. I practiced every day and finally Icould do them well. But when I entered junior highschool and had the military training. I suddenlyfound that being a soldier was very difficult and Iwasn't strong enough to bear it . I had to give mydream up.

But I wasn't discouraged, and I had new aim, which was to be a postman, or rather to bea newspaper boy. As a newspaper boy. I could speed along streets on a bike and thrownewspapers onto every porch. That's also very cool. So I started learning to ride a bicycle. After the everyday practice, I could go very fast by bicycle. But to my disappointment, the jobwhich I wanted only existed in western counties not in China, because there was no porch inChina. And Chinese postmen had to stuff very thick newspapers into very small mailboxes fromvery narrow entrances. The job was far from what I had expected. So once again my dream fellthrough.

Perhaps you have had the same experience as I and most of your dreams haven't cometrue yet. But I think it doesn't matter, because if you have a dream, you'll make many effortsto realize it. This course is really important. If I hadn't dreamt of being a soldier or anewspaper boy. I wouldn't have learned to swim, to dive, to climb trees or to ride a bicycle.Even if our dream can't come true, you'll learn much from the efforts you have made. Sowhat I want to tell us is that dream helps us to grow up and teaches us how to control ourlives . It is dream that gives us power and makes our lives colorful.

every friend! have you heard of white dream ?perhaps , you think hope is

green, youth is red, and dream is only natural gold!but , i think medical

workers' dream is white.

you're likely to say : white stands for blank, white symbolizes poverty.

but, i will tell you white also signifies creation! white also is the embodiment

of vast and pureness.

people usually speak highly of medical workers as angels in white. because

in their mind , medical workers are upright , kind, selfless and friendly.

despite the rumour and social prejudice, nantingger gave up her rich

physical life, firmly, committing herself to nusing career. in this way, she

destronmasted the glory of white dream.

benqiuen strode over country boundaries, devoting himself to medical career

without hestion.

extremly beautiful scenery often exists in dangerous and high

mountains.extremly grand music is always dismal. extremly noble life frequently

lies in heroic sacrifice.in a sense, isn't medical workers' job great? if one

can sacrifice his life for human, isn't he or she happy? as it going: if there

isn't inveteracy,there isn't prosperous leaves and sweet-smelling flowers, if

there isn't headstream and flowing water, thereisn't rapids and waterfall, if

there isn't medical workers' hard work, there isn't good and healthy life of

hello everyone!

I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and

mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked

places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and

all flesh shall see it together.

Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing

world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in

the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye

unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent

possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most

successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to

think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of

doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do

is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the

toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into

actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let

the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future.

Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our

creativity, we will make it.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that

cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field

frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams.

Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.

Thank you!

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; Its my pleasure to share with you my

ideas about dreams and reality;when I was in the primary school, I had a dream,

I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no

time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my

ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to

graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become more

realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it

be “fulfilled”? Why do we have to surrender[屈服] to the so-called “reality”? What

is the reality actually?

Ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is barrier keeping us

from all possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind

for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still

regarded as the “reality”. Now if that was really the reality, what did the

Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macao? Only when we believe that

the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future

is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And if, unfortunately,

Mr.Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will

never be curable as this is the reality; People living in the undeveloped

countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; Disputes

among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and

intolerance is the reality.

Ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a

lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually,

ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to

make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of

you think hat you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don’t dream

anymore? Dear adjudicators, what do you think? C.S.Lewis once said, “You are

never too old to dream a new dream. “So for our future, please dream and be

unrealistic. Now that I am university student, my goal is to graduate with

excellences【优秀】. But at the same time, I have dream deeply rooted in our future.

One day, people living in the areas now sweltering【闷热的】 with the horror of wars

will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day,

from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the

poor countries and those from the countries will eventually be able to make

their own happy living themselves. One day , different cultures in this age of

globalization will coexist【共存】 with tolerance 【公差】and the unfriendly

confrontations among them will be eliminated. One day, the globe will share the

dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day,

our dream will defeat the reality!

Thank you very much!

Good morning everybody! It's my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then today I'd like to talk something about which is more important, time or money. Some people often say:“money is more important than time.”they think that if people have money. They can buy clothes, foods, drinks, houses, cars, computers and so o n. But l don’t think so. Because when time is gone we can't get it back. But we can keep on making more money. We can use time to get money. However we can’t use money to get time. Lost wealth maybe replaced by industry. Lost knowledge by study. Lost health by temperance or medicine, but lost time is gone for ever. I cannot afford to waste my time making money. So I think time is more important than money. We must make full use of our time to study and work. Each moment in history is a fleeting time, precious and unique.

In my opinion, the movie “ the pursuit of happyness “ is a meaningful film,

the hero of the movie is an active man. Though his life was very hard, his wife

left because of the situation of their family. His work was also unfortunate. He

never gave up and still work hard. Then he took care of his little son. He is

going after happiness all the time, so his life is running . Time is very

importmant to him, he must finish his task on time , or he wouldn't live a

steady life , he has to pay the rent and taxes and so on, but he insist on

taking every chance to make his life live better and he believe in himself.

Finally, he succeed , his part of life in the movie is moving and real.

I also like the song in the movie very much, it says “ the mountains have

high places and low places ……”

我也很喜欢那部电影里面的那首歌,它说“山峰有高的地方也有低的地方……

Everyone has a dream, if you work as hard as the hero of the movie , your

Respect teacher, dear students: good morning, everyone!

The topic of my speech under the flag today is "flying ideal".

Ideal is the wind, blows the boat of life. Ideal is the rain, moisten the

flower of life. An eagle has a desire for the blue sky, soar to the sky; A big

tree had to sunlight is yearning, to straight into the sky; A person has the

pursuit of ideals, to go further on the road of life. Flying ideal, is to let

the future; Flying ideal, is to let life.

In this ideal relays, we fight on the ball, free and easy, the tranquility

of the reading in the classroom, the playground running strong, listen to the

teacher carefully in class and desk hard toil, grasping the pulse of the time.

Because we know: a man's life is limited, the youth is short. Madame Curie once

said: "when you have a great aim, and you will work as a rest". Similarly, when

we have big dreams, we will consider learning a enjoy, because that is the ideal

ladder, is the only way to success.

Zhou enlai aspire to re-create in teenager revealed "for the rise of the

Chinese reading" grandiloquence, finally he become a generation of great men,

the founding fathers. Yue fei childhood, then set the service to our country

"loyalty" hongzhi, eventually he proved to his own action, to achieve the ideal.

Only to fly the ideal person, in the path of life sword cut thorns, not afraid

of failure, go forward; Only have the courage to release the ideal person to get

their goal, the direction of; Life can only be in flying ideal person, find

their own position on the big stage, deduce wonderful life, decorate insipid

life. If there are building hundreds of feet high; Even if there are flowers

numerous thousands of trees. We still need to have the forthright temperament

and noble ideals; We still need to be full of passion and high bearing, ideal

self heart brave and firmly to the blue sky to fly.

As the saying goes: "where there is a will, there is a way." The

classmates, let us fly their own ideal, do not bow before difficulties, do not

give up in the face of a setback, have the courage to challenge themselves,

beyond the self, improve themselves, believe that there must be a dream come

true that day!

Chinese intellectual revolution and sociopolitical reform movement (1917 – 21)。 In 1915 young intellectuals inspired by Chen Duxiu began agitating for the reform and strengthening of Chinese society through acceptance of Western science, democracy, and schools of thought, one objective being to make China strong enough to resist Western imperialism. On May 4, 1919, reformist zeal found focus in a protest by Beijing's students against the Versailles Peace Conference's decision to transfer former German concessions in China to Japan. After more than a month of demonstrations, strikes, and boycotts of Japanese goods, the government gave way and refused to sign the peace treaty with Germany. five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand

signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great

beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the

flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long

night of captivity.

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is

still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly

crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one

hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst

of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is

still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile

in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling

condition.

in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the

architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and

the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which

every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be

guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of

happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note

insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred

obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back

marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice

is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great

vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand

the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce

urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to

take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark

and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is

the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the

time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid

rock of brotherhood.

it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and

to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the

negro's legitimate discontent will not pauntil there is an invigorating autumn

of freedom and equality. nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a

beginning.

those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be

content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to busineas usual.

there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted

his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the

foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm

threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the proceof gaining our

rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to

satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterneand

hatred.

we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and

discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical

violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting

physical force with soul force.

the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not

lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as

evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny

is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our

freedom.

we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall

march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of

civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as

our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels

of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as

the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can

never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in

new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not

satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and

righteousnelike a mighty stream

i am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and

tribulations. some of you have come fresh from narrow cells. some of you have

come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of

persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. you have been the

veterans of creative suffering. continue to work with the faith that unearned

suffering is redemptive.

go back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to georgia, go back to

louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that

somehow this situation can and will be changed. let us not wallow in the valley

of despair.

i say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and

frustrations of the moment, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in

the american dream.

i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true

meaning of its creed: "we hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are

created equal."

i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of former

slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a

table of brotherhood.

i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi, a desert state,

sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into

an oasis of freedom and justice.

i have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where

they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their

character.

i have a dream today.

i have a dream that one day the state of alabama, whose governor's lips are

presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be

transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be

able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as

sisters and brothers.

i have a dream today.

i have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and

mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked

places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and

all flesh shall see it together.

this is our hope. this is the faith with which i return to the south. with

this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of

hope. with this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our

nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. with this faith we will be able

to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail

together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one

day.

this will be the day when all of god's children will be able to sing with a

new meaning, "my country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee i sing.

land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every

mountainside, let freedom ring."

and if america is to be a great nation this must become true. so let

freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire. let freedom ring

from the mighty mountains of new york. let freedom ring from the heightening

alleghenies of pennsylvania!

let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of colorado!

let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of california!

but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia!

let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee!

let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of mississippi. from

every mountainside, let freedom ring.

when we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every

hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day

when all of god's children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles,

protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of

the old negro spiritual, "free at last! free at last! thank god almighty, we are

free at last!"

my youth , my dream

We all want to believe that we are capable of great feats , of reaching our fullest potential .

We need dreams .

They give us a vision of a better future .

They nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality .

They keep us going .

Most successful people are dreamers .

Dreamers are not content with merely mediocre ,because no one ever dreams of going half way .

When I was a little girl , I didn’t dream of a life of stryggle and frustration .

I dreamed of doing something big and splashy ,something significant .

I dreamed big .

But now , I become realistic .

I have a dream that I can have my own firm one day .

Because I major in economic , I can use my special knowledge to run the company .

When I have a lot of money , I will donate some of them to help others .

My dreams are worthless , my plans are dust , my goals are impossible .

All are of no value unless they are followed by action .

Action is the food and drink which will nourish my success .

If I don’t take any actions to realize my dream , it will become a fantasy .

When I was little , I dreamed big .

It’s a pity for me that I didn’t do anything to approach it .

I always think that when I grow up , I can take some actions .

But when I grow up truly , I forget my dream and my ambition .

So I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow .

For I know that tomorrow never comes .

Let me act now even though my actions may not bring success for it is better to act and fail than not be act and flounder .

Success will not wait .

If I delay , she will become betrothed another and lost ti me forever .

I will take every effort to accomplish my dream .i won’t let it become a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will become true .
