Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich dreaming of

becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous dreaming of suddenly

jumping to great fame.

I have a lot of dreamstoo. When I was a young girl I dreamed of becoming a

scientist like Hua Imogen in future. However I knew very well that I could not

succeed without painstaking efforts. So I studied hard in the middle school and

college in order to attain my goal.

After graduating from college I found a job as a teacher. Although I was

very busy with teaching I never gave up my goal.

I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise

and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes I was so deeply indulged

in my research that I forgot my meals and time. Now I have made great progress.

Several of my research papers have been published. The methods proposed in my

papers have been proven to be valuable for the solution of some problems. I am

very happy.

The ladder of becoming a scientist is still far ahead but I have climbed

the first rung anyway.

I have two kinds of dream homes. One is quiet, and the other is on a busy

street.

I want a quiet home because I want to have a rest there. The house is on

the grass. In front of the house, there is an apple tree. I want to have many

I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being „s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what‟s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there‟s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. That‟s all ! Thank you!

honorable judges，dear teachers and close friends.i’m very glad to stand here to share my speech with y i’m going to talk about dreams.

everyone has a dream.

martin luther king had a dream-and we can all recall his civil rights knight had a dream-and now the whole world knows his nike slogan“just do it”!

i also have a dream，but not only a simple one.

when i was in primary school，my dream was that i would be a doctor when i grew up.i’ll be the first person who produces a new kind of medicine can make teachers relax when they are busy correcting their students’ exercises and preparing their use one day when i woke up at midnight，i found my father，a senior chinese teacher，was still busy with his work.i was deeply moved.i wish my father could be healthy and relaxed every minute.

now i’m a senior grade two student，all my classmates and i are working hard，we all know the college entrance examination which will come in the year of XX is a big problem for must study harder and harder in order to go to a good university，then when we finish our school，we can find a good job in dream is also gh now i’m not good at study，i’ll try my best.

i know fantasy is hard to come true，bue dream can.

i’ll work hard for my dreams，i’ll never give up.

today i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. what is success? it is what everyone is longing for.sometimes success would be rather simple. winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now i am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.

however, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very

complicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.nowadays, in the modern society there are many people who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.

different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.

what is success? everyone has his own interpretation as i do. but i am sure every success leads to an ever-brighter future. so ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life!
