this speech. My topic is: how to achieve success. First of all, let us see a

repetition? The reason, I think, is that a typical success story like this is so

close to our daily life. Moreover we can understand so deeply, it is not just a

story, but a good will from people’s inner heart. By implication, we see a

4-step definitions of success: 1 ) a goal to be set. as represented by the

beautiful princess. So you’d better find your princess as soon as possible; 2 )

challenges to be meet, as represented by the three tasks. Only if you directly

meet the challenge, can you besuccessful; 3 ) the process of overcoming

difficulties, as represented by the ordeals the youth goes through; 4 ) the

reward of success, as represented by the happy marriage. That’s all! Find your

princess, meet challenges, overcome difficulties, and have a good life.

in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the

architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and

the declaration of independence， they were signing a promissory note to which

every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men， yes，

black men as well as white men， would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of

"life， liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america

has defaulted on this promissory note， insofar as her citizens of color are

concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation， america has given the

negro people a bad check， a check which has come back marked "insufficient

funds."

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.

Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive.

We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are more and more

i think avoiding to do many things is not the way to protect the envirnment,the point is not the thing we can't do,but is the thing we shuld do,we are human beings, and we are different form the other animals,we should relay on our telegent and brave.

here i think there are two effecient ways to protect the enviroment, and first one if the development of the technology, the knowlodge is power, it always makes us to get twice acheivement with half effort,for example, an typical pollution plastic package, many places forbid to use the plastic pakage,in fact the plastic package is very good,it has many advantage, low cost ,durable,convenient. the issue is we can't break down it, with the development of technology, one day it will be wildly used, but now what we can do is to use other things to instead it. we usually call for to save the resorces, but in my opinion the resorce is just like the money, if you want more money, you have to earn, but not to save. so the best way is to use the present resorce to discover the new and powrful resorce,we call it sustanibol development.

the other aspect of the protection is advocating everyone to join the group, to make every one realize the importance of protecting the enviroment, the more people ,the more power,thus, you can image if everyone has the habit to improve our enviroment,who make the pollution, if you want the enviroment better,now make you contribution and make your choice!

about my country

I'm worried about my country.

There is polution everywhere.

It's time to do something about it.

We need fresh air to breathe.

Good morning， it's my honor to stand here and give you this speech about

dreams. There I want to start my speech with two short stories.

The first story happened when I was in primary school， I wrote in my

I hope my ideal school starts at 8.30 a.m. because l like to get up late. I hope my ideal school finishes at 4.30 p.m. So l can have lots of time to have a rest and do some after-school activities.

My ideal school is very large, it has three tall buildings , a big dining hall, a tennis court, a big playground and a park.

We have an hour for lunch, we can eat delicious food and chat with each other in the big dining hall. We can also listen to pop music here.

Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.

一、介绍教材。

我们现在使用的教材是20xx年一贯制的牛津教材，进入五年级，英语教材难度明显增大。主要有以下几个特点：

1、词汇量大。

每单元蓝色和黑色单词一般大约有30多个，我们要求蓝色和黑色都要求掌握，达到四会要求，我们都知道，单词是学好英语的基础，因此，过好词汇关是我们的首要任务。

2、句型语法多。

纵观整套教材，一二年级英语主要解决基本的语音语调问题，帮助学生积累较好的语音语调基础；三四年级的英语主要解决识记单词和理解简单的句子的问题，帮助学生构建学习英语的重要的记忆方法、记忆策略的基础；五六年级主要解决基本的句型，即俗话说的语法问题，帮助学习在以后的英语学习中打下较好的语法基础。

如本册书的一、二单元，学生学习的主要是There be句型，这两个单元中就涉及了它的一般疑问句、两种形式的否定句、特殊疑问句中的两种：某地有什么？某地有几个什么？细心的家长会发现，由于句型多，有的孩子经常会将学过的句型混淆：如一般疑问句会用上疑问词开头，单复数混淆现象更是比比皆是。

二、谈谈学生。

随着年级的升高，知识量的加大，学生之间的差距逐步增大。像我们上次的测试，学得好的学生整张试卷上错误很少，甚至没有，但有个别学习困难较大的学生错误很多，基本的题目也不能掌握。学生在同样的环境中学习，为何会有这么大的差距呢？我想，一方面是以前的英语学习没有到位，另一方面，更主要还在于习惯。

1、听课的习惯。“向40分钟要效率”是每一位教师的追求，也是我们对每一位学生的要求。课堂上我们对单词的读音、记忆方法，新句型的`讲解、练习、注意点都一一讲解，大部分学生学得轻松、快乐，所教单词课上就能掌握，句型也能熟练掌握，其诀窍也就是抓住了40分钟。但仍有个别学生听课习惯还停留在低年级水平，注意力只能坚持十几分钟，需要经常提醒，这样就会导致新单词读音都不能掌握，更别说当堂记住拼写了，语法知识更是一知半解。当然，在这一点上我们始终在努力着，我们正试图让每一位学生明白：课堂上浪费了一分钟，也许课后花十分钟、一小时也难以弥补。

2、作业的习惯。在英语作业的布置方面，我们一贯坚持少而精的原则，针对当天所教的知识进行必要的读、写练习，以便及时巩固新知。但是，孩子在作业的书写、正确率、读背作业的完成方面均存在很大的差距。有的孩子书写一丝不苟且正确率高，有的孩子正确率尚可但书写龙飞凤舞，更有个别学生，组长跟他要作业如同“讨债”，能拖则拖，能赖最好，用这样的态度对待每天的作业，他的学习成绩就可想而知了。我想，督促孩子完成每天的作业对在座的每一位来说并非难事，绝大多数家长也确实做到了还做得非常好。

这里我还想特别提一提每天的家长签字，也许有家长认为每天都要签字实在太麻烦了，有时就懒得督促孩子读书，甚至不去细看当天的作业有哪些，提笔就给孩子签了。你不知道，你哪怕是偶尔一次有这样的做法，你的孩子也许就会有不止十次应付老师、应付家长的行为。采用家长签字这一形式，只是希望在老师和家长的共同督促之下，使学生尽快养成良好的作业习惯，尤其是每天读英语的习惯。

三、几点建议。

可以这样说，家长对英语的关注程度，会直接影响孩子学习英语的态度。为了孩子们的进步，下面我想就英语学习方面向各位提几点建议：

1、帮孩子树立学习的信心。五年级的英语学习其实还处在打基础的阶段，对于在英语学习方面有困难尤其是目前看起来困难较大的孩子，我们做家长的切不可轻言放弃，放任自流，给他一点鼓励，告诉他：别怕，英语学习才刚刚开始呢！要善于发现孩子所取得的哪怕一点点进步，及时给予表扬。要知道，你们每天只需面对一个孩子，和老师要面对两个班一百多名学生相比，你们对自己的孩子了解得更多，也许会更多地关注到学习中的细节，给予有针对性的评价。

2、培养孩子良好的学习习惯。

习惯决定性格，性格决定命运。养成好的习惯孩子终身受益。学习习惯的养成并不是仅仅依靠学校教育完成的，在座的各位家长也担负着不可推卸的责任。如每天检查孩子的英语作业，包括校内的默写，及时了解孩子当天或最近一段时间学习上的薄弱环节，及时督促孩子补上。对于家庭作业并不要求你帮孩子检查得一条错误也没有，有时这样做反而带来一些负面作用，因为知道了正确答案，老师评讲时心不在焉，结果对于某些知识点始终一知半解。 但孩子的作业有没有认真完成，你从书写上就能看出来，如果书写潦草那肯定没有认真解答，你可以要求他认真重写一遍。

再如，每天和孩子聊聊当天课上学习的内容，不妨拜孩子为师，让他再讲给你听听。当然，你最大的任务还是督促你的孩子坚持每天读英语，因为学好英语的唯一方法就是多读。

3、经常与老师沟通。

家长与老师经常联系，可以及时了解孩子在学校的表现，课上是否专心听讲、积极思考，作业是否能及时完成，以便对孩子进行更有针对性的指导。

I love English because it can be very helpful in my future career,for English is so widely used in the world. Moreover, I find it very interesting to learn a subject that is absolutely different from Chinese culture. Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and

philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our

experience,strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do

without them.

Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the

good from the bad.

Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

Reading introduced me to concepts like mindful eating, relaxation

exercises, and the importance of loving yourself. If I didn’t read, I wouldn’t

even be aware of these ideas, which have defined my entire coaching philosophy.

If you don’t read, you could be missing out on intriguing ideas that would

likewise re-define your personal purpose or business philosophy.

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many

other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and

strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise

friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more

books.

Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of

books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad

books will do us more harm than good.

However, in current days,many of us spend most of the leisure time in

playing games or surfing the internet,instead of reading. it's a pity to find it

less and less our students are interesting in reading,or have formed a habit of

reading.So,in order to revive reading,this beneficial activity,we'd better take

每周语文课是9节，由于升入五年级课目增多，课都排的非常满，根本上没有自习课时间，所以对于语文学科，那么多的教学任务容不得我在课堂上有丝毫的浪费，必须在课堂的45分钟里高效的，保质保量的把知识传授给学生，所以在课前我备好课，方案好每节课我要完成哪些教学任务，在课堂上我充分调动学生的积极性，让学生参与学习，重点内容重点讲，该放手让学生解决的让学生解决，力求当堂课任务当堂课完成，不留尾巴。通过一学期的教学，感觉班级学生上课状态比拟好，都能跟上我的思路，掌握了一定的学习方法，到现在上课时根本上不用怎么去强调纪律，偶尔对动作慢的，走神的的同学进行提醒，每节课的教学任务根本上都能顺利的完成，效果比拟好。

2、注重根底，注重知识拓展。

我认为要想把语文学好，根底知识必须过关，字词的积累、标点的使用、句式的变换等等，所以我要求学生每课的生字词必须会写会用，再就是注意积累课文中的好词好句，尤其是一些四字词语、叠词，一些比喻句、拟人句等等，为说话、根底素材。需要背诵的段落、古诗必须要背下来，我通过经常听写测试了解学生的掌握情况。根底很关键但随着知识的。增多加深，要对知识进行拓展，也就是不能局限于课本那点东西，尤其句式的变换，阅读题的理解，一些一题多解、谈感受，说想法的题目更能让学生把积累的语文知识发挥出来，真正到达拓展孩子思维，培养孩子能力的目的使学生学会从不同角度去考虑问题，到达学以致用，灵活掌握。

3、关注每一个学生，不放弃每一个学生。

在班级里无论学生的学习好坏，家庭背景如何，我都是一样的对待，一样的喜欢，孩子都是好孩子，就是我们做老师的，做家长的怎么来引导，去教育，如今打骂已不是解决问题的惟一的方法，也不是有效的方法了，其实换一个角度去思考，一次谈话，一次表扬，一次鼓励等等或许更能鼓励他，在班级里我做到关注每一个学生，从作业批改，从课堂提问，从一举一动，即使经常不业的同学我也经常去向他要作业让他补作业，告诉作为一个学生这样是不对的，上课也会经常提问他，而不是放任自流，我想我是对他负责任的，因为我知道他是因为没有养良好的学习习惯才这样的，我要尽我的努力来帮助他。对于班上的同学发现表现好的地方我就及时的鼓励，听写一百分了，上课认真听讲了，作业写的好了，考试取得好成绩了，或是表现比以前有进步了，“好孩子是夸出来的〞大人都喜欢听表扬的话何况是孩子呢，在严格的要求同时不妨多鼓励孩子，他会更有学习的动力。我执教的这一个多学期，我们每一次语文单元测试都会将优秀的学生和成绩进步的学生进行表扬奖励，家长们也可以看到我们的墙壁上有一块荣耀榜，分别有优秀榜和进步榜，以此来表扬和鼓励学生再接再厉，目前来看效果还是不错的

二、学生情况：

通过一学期的教学，对本班学生也有了较全面的了解，谁学习是什么状态，还存在什么问题，也根本心里有数了，大局部学生学习习惯都非常好，真的非常懂事，无论是课上听课，还是课下完成作业练习，都不用老师操心，完成的也比拟好，但也有小局部学生对自己不能严格要求，课上注意力还不够集中，需要老师催促，还有的同学不能及时完成学习任务或是完成的质量不高，存在应付的心理，学生本身对学习这件事认识不够，主观不努力，学习效果比拟差，听写错的比拟多，考试成绩不理想。从本学期两次测试成绩来看，本班语文成绩稳中有进。第一次测试最高分95分，最低分8.5分，优秀人数6人（85分以上）不及格11人。期中测试最高分94分，最低分16分，优秀人数24人，不及格5人，优秀人数增多，不及格的人数减少，但大局部学生的分数都有所提高，从两次测试来看，学生对我有一个接受的过程，现在根本上已经熟悉了我的教学方法，每次考试完我们都要进行质量分析，我感觉我们班的优秀人数还会增多，也就是说中等生还有进步的潜力，尤其对不及格的同学我很有信心，最少有2个五十分以上的争取及格。马上进入紧张的复习阶段了，一学期的知识更多了，学期末能否有理想的成绩，要靠老师的教学，要靠学生的努力，同时也离不开家长的配合，如果我们都尽力了相信一切会有好的成绩。提出来几点希望：

1、希望家长每天能抽出时间来过问孩子在校的情况，过问孩子的学习，在对待学习对待学校生活上正确引导孩子，上课纪律上、作业完成上过问一下，让孩子觉得父母是关心他的，让他明白老师教育他是对他的负责任，是为了他好。

2、希望家长能善于发现孩子的长处，耐心的引导孩子正确看待自己的缺乏，并帮助他们改正缺点。

3、家长让孩子多读有益的书。

4、希望家长能正确看待孩子的分数（不要认为分数就是一切，考试分数高，要引导孩子不要自满，分数不理想，应该与老师、孩子一起分析问题的所在，研究改良措施）

5、要规定孩子放学后必须做完老师布置的学习任务，家长最好看一下，不用管对错，只看是否完成或是完成的好坏，这样对孩子来讲是一种催促，也是一种习惯的养成。如果您放任自流了，那就失去了教育的一半，光靠老师是不够的，那知识稳固的这一环节就失去效果了。

6、希望家长能一如既往的支持我的工作，有问题及时与我沟通，给我提出好的建议，我们可以联系。

为了给孩子打下良好的根底，为了孩子能有好的未来，现在我们所做的一切都是为了孩子，我们共同努力吧，在今后的教学中我会尽我的一切能力把孩子教好，让他们学有所得，不辜负家长的信任。谢谢大家！

I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me what I would be in the future . Youth
