today is may 16, 2014.there is less than a month before the college

entrance examination. i still remember the day before the examination. i and you

ever made great effort to realize a dream of entering a university. and now we

are here.

but most freshmen are dissatisfied with the life in university in the first

term, before i went to university, i viewed university as a freedom paradise

where i can do anything i like. but when i get here. everything turn to be out

of my imagination. i have to do a lot of homework everyday just as in senior

high school. living condition is not as good as in my expectation, food here is

发扬优良传统，厉行勤俭节约，是被历史印证了的正确选择。纵观中国历史，有数不尽关于勤俭节约的历史典故和事件。从节俭力行赐而不受的晏婴，到“一钱太守”刘宠，从一代名相魏征，到伟大的民主革命先行者孙中山，再到我们的伟大领袖毛主席，他们勤俭节约的故事无一不是对“历览前贤国与家，成由勤俭败由奢”这句古训的有力诠释。“浪费是极大的犯罪”，正是主席这句掷地有声的话，指引着几代人艰苦奋斗、自力更生，使年轻的共和国迅速医治了战争的创伤，甩掉了一穷二白的帽子，让中华民族重新屹立于世界民族之林。

发扬优良传统，厉行勤俭节约，是由时代现实决定了的必然选择。也许有人会说，以前国家穷，我们不得不勤俭节约，今天，中国跻身世界第二大经济体，人们的生活富了、腰包鼓了，浪费一点也无妨。的确，随着人们的消费习惯从“生存型”转向“发展型”，适当提高消费水平可以理解，但这决不能成为丢掉勤俭节约这个传家宝的理由。因为同样不可否认的是，目前，我国仍处于并将长期处于社会主义初级阶段。我们还有一亿多农村扶贫对象、几千万城市低保人口，还有为数众多的困难群众;我们还是世界农产品进口大国，资源短缺问题，粮食的平衡问题，依然是制约我国可持续发展的瓶颈;我们的人均GDP尚在世界百位之后，依然是世界上最大的发展中国家。发展中国家、社会主义初级阶段，这个最大的国情我们须臾不能忘。它决定了我们的国家根本经不起铺张浪费的折腾，

决定了勤俭节约、艰苦奋斗的传统须臾不能丢，反对铺张浪费的主张须臾不能忘。经济学家说过，奢侈是公众的大敌，节俭是社会的恩人。然而，社会主义初级阶段的国情我们不能逾越，人口众多的现实我们一时不能改变，资源匮乏和经济发展之间的矛盾我们不能逃避，那么，直面现实和矛盾，试想，如果人人都能躬行节俭，集腋成裘、聚沙成塔，我们将为国家省下多少资源，那将是多么巨大的财富?

发扬优良传统，厉行勤俭节约，是我们每个人的责任。有这样一个真实的故事：一行中国人在欧洲一家餐厅用餐后，由于桌上剩了1/3的饭菜被罚款50马克。工作人员解释道，虽然吃饭的钱是你们的，但资源是社会的，谁都没有理由浪费。在全社会正掀起“厉行节约，反对浪费”的热潮中，这则故事着实发人深省。常听到有人振振有词：花钱消费是个人自由，浪不浪费他人无权干涉。殊不知，浪费行为的“溢出效应”侵蚀了社会资源，浪费就不仅仅是个人的事情了，它更关乎公共利益、社会公德，从这个角度看，厉行节俭、人人有责。我们每个人都生活在自己的小家，更存在于一个大家，所谓“大河有水小河满，大河无水小河干”，如果每个人都不负责任地浪费资源，那么当人类仅剩的一滴水是地球的眼泪，仅剩的一抹绿是地球的记忆时，恐怕我们谁也逃不过自然的惩罚，那时，，谁还敢说浪不浪费是个人自由?谁还敢摆出事不关己的姿态?

节约体现的是一种忧患意识，一种可持续发展的深谋远虑，一种事关人类生存和发展的未雨绸缪，因此，作为社会的一分子，厉行勤俭节约不仅是民族的优良传统，更是我们每个人应尽的责任。

发扬优良传统，厉行勤俭节约，要从思想上彻底扭转观念。在现实生活中，有很多不必要的浪费是由错误的观念造成的，例如扭曲的消费观——面子消费。不少人认为凡事要大操大办、宁剩毋缺面子上才挂得住、人情上才过得去，更有些人甚至打肿脸来充胖子也要装排场、讲气派，劳神伤财、浪费资源不说，还给以后的生活造成了极大的负担;也有一些人虚荣心膨胀，一味“炫耀消费”，不选对的，专挑贵的，以此炫耀财富、夸饰身份、显示地位，有数据显示，中国人奢侈品消费占全球的四分之一，网上也经常报道中国人出国时疯狂购物，使西方发达国家大为震惊。难道中国真的高度发达、中国人真的一下子富起来了吗?显然，这与我们的国情并不相符;是中国人都忘记了勤俭节约的传统了吗?也不是这样的。造成这种浪费，其实是中国人好面子的观念和虚荣心在作祟。大家你看我，我看你，互相攀比，在虚荣心驱使之下追求体面、排场，自觉不自觉地花了许多冤枉钱，浪费了许多宝贵资源。因此，发扬勤俭节约的优良传统，我们要从扭转思想观念做起，摆正心态，树立正确的消费观和价值观，放下所谓面子、收起个人虚荣，对家庭经济、对社会资源负起责任。

发扬优良传统，厉行勤俭节约，是国家公职人员廉洁自律的必然要求。中央“八项规定”明确要求，要厉行勤俭节约，严格遵守廉洁从政有关规定。对国家公职人员来讲，小到所用的每一张打印纸，大到公车的采购使用，小到一顿公务招待，大到大型活动的组织开展，花的都是公款，是国家和人民的钱，厉行勤俭节约是对国家和人民负责的必然要求。然而，在公务员队伍中，也有个别人无视公款使用原则，大肆铺张浪费，超标购车、公款吃喝娱乐、大搞面子工程、中饱私囊，甚至用公款拉关系走后门，谋取私人利益。这些行为严重危害了党风政风、损害了党的形象、伤害了人民感情，事实也证明，这些人是难逃国家法律和党的纪律的严惩的。值得欣慰的是，反对浪费，厉行节约之风正悄然刮起，从中央到地方年底团拜会取消了，名目繁多的宴请会、联谊会减少了，再看看我们身边，一年一度的花博会减少了不必要的鲜花摆放，单位建起了廉政食堂，制定了公车使用管理制度;身边的长明灯灭了，永不关机的电脑下班时关了，办公室空调温度调高了等等，不要以为这是政府抠门儿，因为这些变化正一点一滴地为国家和人民节约资源和财富，政府将有能力去救助更多孤寡老人，帮助更多的贫困学生重返校园，为山区的群众修一条出山的路，为干旱地区的群众挖一口吃水的井……作为一名公务员，我们要时刻牢记：我们只有为人民看好钱袋子的责任，没有挥霍浪费的权利;只有勤俭节约、廉洁自律的基本要求，没有腐化堕落的理由。

Can Money Buy Happiness?

Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some think yes, while others hold the opposite.

It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.

So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

A we know, mot of the thing in our life have to be bought with money. But

money i not the only in the world. Money can not buy many thing uch a time and

true love.

There are 24 hour in a day. When we are happy, we hope the time would

longer. But no matter what we do, or how much money we pend. We cannot make a

day lat 25 hour.Another thing money cannot buy i true love. Money can buy u

large houe, beautiful clothe, but can’t buy time and love.

I think that money is essential to life and we cannot do without money. But

even though money is necessary to life, it can’t buy happiness. Happiness is not

he is not happy because he is never satisfied or he is troubled by various kinds

of problems. Therefore, although money is necessary for a happy life, it can’t

buy happiness.

you see, we have a society where people just concentrate on earning money to pay

同时我们也可以认识到金钱并不是万能的，你可以用你怀里成把的钞票去买到关怀吗?你可以用你的金钱买到原谅吗?你可以用金钱买到包容吗?也许你可以买到，但那买到的一切都是虚伪的，而真诚是你永远也无法买到的。

金钱是为人服务的，人不能受金钱的役使。对金钱过分执着则会使人丧失许多美好的品质，眼睛里除了钱别无他物的人，其价值就等同于朽木。从前齐国有个财迷，每天都做梦能得到金子。一天早上，他到市场上去赶集，来到一家经营金银首饰的店里，伸手拿了一块金子，扭头便走。店主见状大呼“抓贼”。巡吏闻声赶来，抓住了那个人。巡吏生气地问：“你怎敢如此大胆，街上人这么多，店主也在，你怎么抢了人家金子就跑!”那人回答说：“拿金子地时候，我的眼里只有金子，根本没有其他人。”唉!这种人实在太可悲了!

1.在太平洋卡罗莱群岛中有一个雅普岛,岛上的居民把开采出来的石头当作钱,即直接从自然界中取得货币.这种石头钱被称为“斐”,它是从雅普岛以南400英里的另外一个岛上开采出来的.在质地符合要求的前提下,石头的价值取决于石头的大小,石头越大,价值越大.

由于人们都追求较大的价值量,当地许多居民便冒着巨大的风险从海外的岛上开采大石头并运回来.因石头较大,用作交易工具实在不便,所以岛上的居民进行交易时,并不搬动石头,而只是由石头的主人作一个口头声明,告诉大家这块石头已经易主就行了.据说,雅普岛曾经发生过这样一件趣事：一个富有的家庭自称在400英里以外的岛上有一块巨大无边的石头“斐”,以表示他家拥有巨大的财富.其实,那块石头到底是什么样,大到何种程度,雅普岛上的居民从没有见到过.这富有之家的财富也就仅仅作为观念存在于岛上居民的心目中.

基于金钱是财富的“综合代表”却不是财富本身,以及金钱并不能够完全度量、代表和交换一切财富的理解,我们关于金钱的智慧就是：在现实社会生活中,我们既要追求金钱,以获得它能够代表的财富(如住房、汽车等),也要追求金钱不能够代表的财富(如内心的平安);我们要拥有一定量的金钱,但不能够停留于只是拥有金钱的状况之中,也要享受金钱所能够交换到的真实财富本身,也就是要会花钱.否则,我们就只是空洞地拥有金钱财富形式,成为地道的“守财奴”;我们要在一定的时空里追求金钱,也要在一定的时空里放弃追求金钱来享受足够的人生闲暇.在这样的智慧人生中,金钱就将永远是你忠实的仆人,你就将赢得生活的丰富内容和人生价值的真实实现.或者说,你就是在智慧地生存和生活着.

关于金钱、金钱与人生、金钱与社会,历史上许多思想家都表现出了浓厚的悲观主义看法.马克思对于商品货币的“拜物教”给予过猛烈的抨击,认定商品货币条件下,特别是当劳动力转化为商品,货币转化为资本的资本主义社会里,这种“拜物教”具有不可消除的属性,它深深地奴役或“异化”了人的存在.因此,推翻资本主义社会制度,废除商品货币体系,也就成了未来美好社会理想建设的基本前提.德国的社会思想家西美尔认为,“金钱是世俗之神”的现实令人感到悲哀,因为金钱只是一种空洞的形式,不是财富本身,也不能够代表所有的财富,“金钱只是通向最终价值的桥梁,而人是无法栖居在桥上的”.与马克思不同的是,西美尔没有废除货币制度的理想设计,只是面对现实发出无奈的叹息,充满着不尽的悲情.

我们“很不幸”地生活在一个金钱存在的历史阶段和社会里.在可以预计的未来,我们根本无法废除金钱,但我们是否有必要屈从于金钱,或是沉溺于金钱的悲观情绪之中呢?至少,我以为是没有必要的.对个人而言,如能智慧地对待金钱来生活,只是将其作为一种生活的工具或手段,而不是作为生活的目的,我敢肯定,这种有着真实内容的生活,有着丰富财富结构的生活,也就是相对成功的、有价值的生活,尽管这不是也不可能是完美无缺的生活。

大家下午好!今天我演讲的题目是《合理使用金钱》。

美国著名作家马克·吐温说过：如果你懂得使用，金钱是一个好奴仆，如果你不懂得使用，它就变成了你的主人。在我们经济发达的无锡，相信很多同学都会零花钱。少则几元，多则上千，上万。身在蜜罐中的我们或许会想零花钱嘛，就是让自己随意支配的钱。我想买吃的就买吃的，我想买玩的就买玩的。不瞒你说，我也曾经这么认为。但是，自从看到一篇同学的习作，我对零花钱有了新的认识。那位同在作文中这样写到：

妈妈，有一件事，我一直想跟你和爸爸说，可又总是说不出口：

你知道吗，每次体育课后，热得满头大汗的同学们就去买只冰糕，而我却没钱买，只好偷偷地躲在一边看。我的心里好难受啊!妈妈，你知道吗，其实我不仅仅是嘴馋。

有一次，我实在忍不住，就偷偷地拿了家里的1元钱，下体育课后也买了支雪糕。没想到后来你发现了，就和爸爸狠狠地打了我一顿。

妈妈，我知道我们家没有钱，但我只要1元钱，在天气很热的时候，也能和同学们一样，光明正大地买只雪糕吃。

1元钱，有些同学在小店买一根烤肠还不够，在校门口买碗牛线还不够……但是，这位同学却为这区区1元钱而犯错，而痛苦。1元钱，花起来的确是不多，如果要自己赚，那就真没那么简单啦。

寒假里，学校组织我们要进行自己赚1元钱的生活体验。我苦思冥想：卖春联赚钱。我高高兴兴地从家里拿起了一张又宽又长的红纸，剪成两张相同的纸。大笔一挥，酣畅淋漓地写上：“四季平安四季春，一家和睦一家福”;“梅开春烂漫，竹爆岁平安”……

我满心欢喜地把春联拿到集市卖，大声吆喝着：“卖春联，卖春联”。可是，尽我喊破喉咙也没人光顾。我很失望，有点气馁，准备打退堂鼓，收好春联回家。妈妈语重心长地对我说：“孩子，你不是要赚钱嘛，这么容易就退缩，什么事都做不成的啊。”我继续安守阵地，“功夫不负有心人”，终于有人来买了。唉，两个小时，总算卖出去了一幅，赚到了2元钱。手里拽着那来之不易的2元，我真正明白了赚钱真的不容易啊!

同学们，一元钱或许花完以后就没了，或许会变成两元钱三元钱……这就要看你如何灵活使用!

我认为：我们可以把钱存进银行里。我们有了钱，可以在银行开一个户头，把钱存进去。在银行存钱不仅安全，还可以得到利息，这会激发我们不断存钱的欲望。在花钱之前就会多想一想是不是一定要取出来。事实上，在我们小的时候，让我们养成存钱不乱花钱的习惯比存多少钱更重要。

古人说：“节俭朴素，人之美德。奢侈华丽，人之大患。劳动是幸福的左手，节俭是幸福的右手。”发扬艰苦奋斗、勤俭节约是社会主义现代化建设的需要，是国家民族的象征。而今天不仅要提倡艰苦奋斗、勤俭节约，更重要的还要善于创造财富，让财富增值。

to a good money manager.

money efficiently, you need to make a good plan. How to make a plan? Firstly,

not mention the Windfall, you should figure out how much money you will have

each money. Secondly, you will have to make a list about what you will surely

spend the money on, such as transportation, and then make a budget. If you find

your budget exceeds the money that you can spend, make a modification on where
