Once upon a time, an old rich woman left all her property to the person who could answer her question correctly. Her question was this “what is the most important thing for a person who wants to succeed?” To my surprise, the answer was not money, not power, not even opportunity, but “ambition”.

Why is ambition so important? A person without ambition is like a near-sighted lion. All the things in the distance appear blurred. No matter how strong it is, it can't go far.

A lion lives to rule the whole plain. A person must prove that “I am a king here”, at least you are the king of yourself.

disabled, they feel lonely. They think they are not as good as normal people.

need people to encourage them to continue their lives. They need people to get

rid of prejudices over them. Now, I would suggest, do whatever we can to help

them. We can donate our pocket money. We can walk up to help the disabled to

cross the street. We can make friends with the disabled by visiting them, by

calling them, by emailing them, by whatever means. However, don’t always think

We take it for granted that we can see things while the blind can not. If

The blind can not see with their bare eyes, but they can see better with their

Every person has his own ideal(理想的) job. Some people wish to be doctors, while others want to be teachers and so on.

As far as I am concerned(就我而言), I dream of being a guide for a long time. First, my major(专业) is the manage(管理) of tourism(旅游业), so I want to get a job about tourism. There are various(很多) kinds of jobs in the world, such as writing, nursing, teaching and engineering. Nevertheless(不过), different people choose different jobs as their ideal careers(终身职业). This happens mainly for the reason that everyone has his own interest.

Unforgetable Experience

Once I changed my attitude toward everything, I recognized my world, my future and myself. It happened when my friends and I had almost finished our last academic year and were invited by our lovely and friend like teachers to an amazing trip, to Issyk-Kul, the pearl of Kyrgyz land. About five of my best friends and I were going to the breathtaking places of our motherland where we decided to have an unforgettable days of our life.

But during the way the others of us were just listening the music, joking to each other and flying in their dreams. After some times later, we got into our nest! and then had first unforgettable dinner near the lake and under the thousands of blazing stars, which reminded us that we were in paradise. When I saw the warm and silk like soft water that was attracting all of us, I rushed to it and noticed that not only I was running like a wild animal, but all my friends did the same as well. The water is excellent, said one of us. Yeah, it is, replied another one. But after a little time, there were again coming lots of voices like, WOW, Cool, and many other sounds that showed our both surprise and gladness. We were happy and at the same time tired. So we went back to have lunch and then to get asleep. Everyone was sleeping when one of my friends and I were playing cards and discussing about our aims in life and about friendship. I thought that having the best friends makes me feel self-assured in my decisions and be full for a real life by recognizing its wellnein community and nature. I thought that only with them I could get a hand and find the way in ! my own life path by discovering my abilities and finding out my great wishes in life. But after some minutes my friend and I were sleeping and continuing discussing, and this time in our dreams.

In evening, we were usually watching comedy films and films about the battles. But on another day we decided to have a party, so we went to a local disco named as Discovery. And the life would be more interesting that night if I didn’t quarrel with my best friend. We started arguing only for our own interests; he insisted on drinking some alcohol and dance, I insisted on not doing that because it would bring big problems and moreover it would be shame on ourselves. Unfortunately, all my friends were against me, because they thought that we could afford drinking alcohol considering that we were about to finish our school. That night I lost all my best friends just in a moment. All my thoughts about friendship were ruined; my heart burst into small pieces that will never be joined any more. And from that moment I started to build everything in my life from zero. I became more serious with my attitude toward people and became more careful myself as well.

As we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, tons of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us.

Life isn't about keeping score. Life isn't about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. In fact it's not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it's not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn't about that.

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about yourself. It's about trust, happiness and compassion. My Dream

I dream of being a doctor.

My mother is a doctor. She always has to work extra hours and comes home late and tired. She has to go to the hospital immediately any time she is needed, no matter how late it is at night. When I was very little and still in primary school, I once asked her why she chose such a boring and hard . She answered with a smile, “Yes I am sometimes very tired but seeing my patients getting better and better makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.”

I want to see people cured ,living happily with their families and friends after my treatment. So I want to be a doctor ,an angel in white.

When I become a doctor, I will cherish each life regardless of the races, sexes, ages, positions and occupations. I will do every bit to cure the incurable.

Sandstorm is a kind of bad weather witch is becoming increasingly common in Northwestern China, and it usually happens in spring and fall. Though I'm only 13, I have experienced it and suffered from it quite a lot.

I'm sure most people still remember the sandstorm that happened last month. It swept across the large area of 11 provinces and caused a great loss to our nation.

As you can see on TV, when a sandstorm comes, the wind blows strongly with dust and sand. Sometimes trees are even broken down in half, and little birds cannot find their homes. Sometimes clouds of dust blur the vision, and little kids cannot find their ways. It's like the end of the world.

When a sandstorm occurs, our classroom is filled with dust and sand. My poor teachers! They've breathed in enough chalk-powder. Now, they have to take in much dust. My poor fellow classmates! They told me they were almost dying.

We love beautiful spring. We cherish bright sunshine. But sandstorms destroy all the lovely things. Yet we know it is Mother Nature's revenge on what we have done to her. In order to see blue sky and sunny spring again, we should plant more trees and more grass to protect the environment. And it is not too late if we start right now.

Though it's a hard job to fight against the sandstorm, it is the battle we must fight, and it is a battle we must win!

My Oscar Dream

On the night of March 1, the 76th Annual Academy Awards was shown on television. After watching it, I had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, I could receive an Oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie I've made.

While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school and I received a n assignment one day, "To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice." At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.

Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.

From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.

When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

Teachers' Day comes on September 10th every year. On the day we usually give our teachers cards to show our thanks. I thank them for helping me when I am in trouble, and I thank them for teaching me how to be a real man.

今天，数学老师以他那素来严厉的语气，为我们讲昨天的考试。我拿到卷子，看着上面那鲜红的分数，我的眼泪差一点就流了出来，“70”分，天哪!要知道，我从来没有考过这么低的分数，况且还是数学!老师在台上讲题，底下传来改错的沙沙声，我的手也在动，可脑子里却是不尽的悲哀。我心里像打翻了五味瓶，酸、甜、苦、辣、咸，一齐涌上我的心头。

窗外乌云密布，我的心里早已下着倾盆大雨，老天好像也很同情我似的，终于，老师宣布放学，我却还木

然的呆坐在那里，同桌拍了我一下，“怎么还不走呀?”“你先走吧!”我苦涩的说出这句话，心里却是一阵伤感。空荡荡的教师里只听到我的抽泣声。

当我拿起书包，慢慢地走出教室时，教室外已经是大雨倾盆了。我慢慢地走进雨雾中，大雨顿时包围了我，却一点也没有感觉到，直到我停止了哭泣，才发现自己已经成了一个“雨人”。走着，走着，我突然觉得脚下一滑，然后就摔在了地上还是一个泥坑!路人也不时的指指点点，“你说现在这年轻人……”“哎!没救了……”我听着这些话，心里挺不是滋味的。

But in retrospect, the destruction of my self was so repetitive that I

started to see a pattern. The self changed, got affected, broken, destroyed, but

another one would evolve -- sometimes stronger, sometimes hateful, sometimes not

wanting to be there at all.The self was not constant. And how many times would

my self have to die before I realized that it was never alive in the first

place?

I grew up on the coast of England in the 70s. My dad is white from

Cornwall, and my mom is black from Zimbabwe. Even the idea of us as a family was

challenging to most people. But nature had its wicked way, and brown babies were

born. But from about the age of five, I was aware that I didnt fit. I was the

black atheist kid in the all-white Catholic school run by nuns.I was an anomaly,

and my self was rooting around for definition and trying to plug in. Because the

self likes to fit, to see itself replicated, to belong. That confirms its

existence and its importance. And it is important.

the ideal is dream , it is power that people move forward to. each people have their different ideams. i have my own ideam .

when i was childen i like to look fairy tale ,so every day i looked lots of fairy tale books , sometimes mom told me beautiful fairy tales, wonderful legends . every time , i na-iv-ely looked at sparked stars in the sky , i thought : when i grow up would like to be a writer and write many articles let people read and appreciate .

as time goes slowly, this beautiful but na-iv-e ideal is permanently impressed in my mind, it deeply hide in my heart and become a kind of power urge me forward. with the passage of time , i have slowly come to understand a reason , it is not easy to be writers , it needs to experience many twists and turns on the road , need to suffer numerous wind and rain blow . but i will not back down and fear , i would like to insist, i firmly believe that if you insist on you will achieve victory.
