I think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing,

My family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our

If someone asks me who affects me most in my life, I will definitely tell him or her that the person should be no one else but my father. As a matter of fact, I have been much affected by father's humor, kindness, enterprise, strong will ever since I was a little girl.

example, a cd-rom disk named “encarta encyclopedia” contains 650 mb information

including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts,

hotwords, and database search functions. fields involved includes physical

sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education

and so on. when pressing a button, i can hear american president clinton's

speech clip. i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world.

i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. this makes physical

concept to be understood deeply. the audio features of multimedia can greatly

help me learning foreign languages. with its speech output capabilities, i'm no

longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.

how can i interact with a computer? there are many ways, including

keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. i often use a keyboard. when i press

right keys, i can see and hear whatever i want. information world is at my

fingertip. i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one

day.

as teachers, computers have a lot of virtues： they are positive, they have

good memories and never lose any information stored in them. they have much

knowledge in every field. they can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also

improve the efficiency of our study. for example, if i want to, i can skip some

chapters so that i can study at my own pace.

although computers will never take the place of human teachers, they are

there’s still time. Just barely. But the truth is, what we give our fathers can

never match what our fathers give us.

I know how important it is to have a dad in your life, because I grew up

without my father around. I felt the weight of his absence. So for Michelle and

our girls, I try every day to be the husband and father my family didn’t have

when I was young. And every chance I get, I encourage fathers to get more

involved in their children’s lives, because what makes you a man isn’t the

ability to have a child – it’s the courage to raise one.

for Congress to follow the lead of state after state, get on the bandwagon, and

give America a raise.

may be our parents’s greater expectations on us than we could reach . later ,

when we are likely to graduate , some other problems will also annoy us . i

可是，我们中国人的父亲，大部分与西方国家中的父亲是不一样的。他们给我们爱的方式也是不一样的。

我们感受到的父爱，总是表达在无声处。

抗美援朝战争时期，_的儿子毛岸英为了中朝两国人民的友谊毅然奔赴战场，但不幸牺牲在了朝鲜战场上。听到这个消息，我们伟大的领袖含着泪道：“我的儿子，与全国人民的儿子都一样。都是人民的儿子。为了国家利益而死，那是死得其所。”

这段话，在很多人听来，可能都觉得_有些不近人情，不爱他的儿子。可是，事实上，他最爱的就是这个儿子。为了培养他的能力，从小便将他送到了苏联学习。牺牲在朝鲜战场上，固然心中是充满了悲痛之情的。以至后来_的警卫员回忆道：“当时听到那个消息，_一下子仿佛苍老了十岁。”所以说，没有哪一个父亲是不爱自己的儿女的。

那是一对父子故事，儿子换了尿毒症，急需换肾。可是一贫如洗的家实在是拿不出钱来，而且，得病之前的儿子，曾是一个典型的坏少年。为此没少让自己的父亲操心。

当他的病之后，年迈的父亲每天一大早就起床拿着一封求援信，到长沙的各个单位寻求帮助。当记者拍到父亲因为屡次遭人拒绝在风雨中变得苍白的脸旁的时候，我终于忍不住掉下了眼泪，想起了我自己的父亲。

我能够坐在这光亮的教室中安心学习，又何尝不是父亲默默背后奔波的结果呢?我想，这样的情况，适用于绝大部分人的父亲吧?为了我们的成长，他们在背后饱受多少的冷眼!可是，又有哪几个父亲会亲口对自己的孩子提起这些呢?就像那报道中的父亲，尽管在风雨中跑了一天，饱受了数不尽的冷眼，可是，回到儿子身边，还是要安慰儿子，鼓励儿子，鼓足力量战胜病魔，却从没提过半句在外面遭受到的辛酸。

忘不了，女儿生病时您脸庞上的担心忘不了的一幕幕，忘不了的父女情……如果生命可以轮回，来生我还做您的女儿!

同学们，我们是哪里人?听到这个问题，大家一定会说是父母把我们带到了这个世界。是的，十几年前的一天，我们的父母含泪和幸福的笑容迎接我们。但是从我们来到这个世界的那一刻起，我们的父母就有一份繁重的工作要照顾我们。虽然这是一个沉重的负担，但我的父母毫无怨言地抚养我长大。为了给我们一个舒适的生活环境，他们总是那么努力，那么辛苦。年轻的时候，我总是把这当成理所当然的事，因为我不知道父母的辛苦。现在长大了，我知道我应该以一颗感恩的心去体谅父母，承担起照顾和孝敬父母的责任。

上周日是我十六岁生日。那一天，我的第一个想法是感谢父母，因为父母给了我在这个多彩的世界里欣赏生活的温暖和温暖，享受生活的快乐和幸福的机会。他们以各种可能的方式给了我生命和关怀。孩子开心，父母最开心，孩子抑郁，父母最关心。舔犊深，父母之爱如海。所以，无论父母的社会地位、知识水平等素养如何，他们都是我们生命中最大的恩人，永远值得我们去爱。

孝顺是做人的基础。只有懂得感恩父母的人，才算是一个完整的人。同学们，让我们学会感恩父母吧!用感恩的心对待父母，用真诚的心与父母沟通，不要再认为父母为我们做任何事都是理所当然的。他们把我们带到了这个足够美好的世界，他们把我们养大，不求回报，默默为我们付出。我们应该停止要求他们的贡献，感恩，感谢父母给我们的每一点。

The love between family members is precious only when we are

parted,maybe.The love between my father and me is clearer,only

when it is conducted by a three-thousand-kilometre-long phone line,and only

then the bad time when we had some argument between us. These past few years,I

felt regret for not understanding my Dad for so long.If only I were a good boy!

My Dad didn't demand that I should be very good at studying,never.He just hoped

that I could live creatively.In my life,he sets a good example for me and

teaches me how to study,how to be a good man and how to live in the world!

My father

My father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.

My family was rather poor when I was in my childhood. We didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father's factory. The room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. I didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. This is terrible both for my parents and me.

But father made this all different! Since the room was on the third floor, namely, the top floor in that old style building, the roof was quite high above the floor. So father got an idea. He bought two thick ropes and a flat wood that later was planed smooth, painted and drilled two holes on both ends.

Then he hung the ends of ropes up to the roof. During the daytime, these two ropes would be tied up so that people down could walk freely! When night came, father would loose the ropes and tied them to the two holes of that flat wood. The length of these ropes was just long enough for me to sit or sleep on the board without other's help.

So in this way my lovely, removable bed was born.

When winter came, this special bed obviously wouldn't be able to make me feel warm enough. But father always had his so lution! He built a garret using some flat wood and iron sticks right above the bed. With some used iron tubes, he made an iron ladder for us to climb up to the garret. Besides, he made a wood en desk for me to do my homework, and some simple furniture for my clothes, books and something else he had in fact made a small bedroom for me.

At first, my mother and I dared not climb for fear that it might collapse. But father climbed it everyday to prove its safety. The garret looked simple even shabby and the ladder seemed to decline soon. But later when I got used to it, I found it as solid as those made by professional carpenters.

I carried all my personal things onto that garret. My father and I pasted red papers on the wall and painted the ugly furniture red. So the garret became the first "room" that belonged to me.When I was about to move to my new house, I just didn't want to leave. That garret was created with my father's love and sweat and intelligence, beautified with my hand and filled with so many sweet memories of my family! That hard but sweet life time would live in my memory forever with father stands in the center of it.

Many years ago, a baby boy came into this world. But unfortunately, he didn't come with a cry, which was a big problem from the medical point of view. The doctor, tough and quick, turned the baby upside down and slapped his bottom sharply. The baby cried, and he survived. At that moment, the father yelled at the doctor, Why did you hit my baby? He did not realize that the doctor had saved the baby's life. The baby cried and cried, and the father smiled and silently cried as well. He held the baby in his arms and did not allow the doctor to touch the baby anymore.Contest chair, ladies and gentlemen, that baby was me, and that man was my dad. Whenever my mom told people this story, I would always laugh aloud, and my dad would just shake his head and smile quietly.

People say that father’s love likes a mountain: heavy and silent. It’s

heavy because he puts all his love to us and it’s silent because he does not

know how to express. Faced his love, we accept it silently without saying a word

to show our appreciation.

Before I was going to senior school, my father had never said a word to

show his love to me, so that I thought he did not love me very much and

sometimes I was upset about it. However, when I left home for senior school, he

called me frequently and just asked me some simple questions like: how’s your

study and life? When do you come home? or something like that. Gradually, I

realize that he misses me although he would never say it out. So this is

father’s love, not so obvious but definitely deep.

minutes talking about what’s sometimes my hardest, but always my most rewarding

i grew up without my father around. he left when i was two years old, and

even though my sister and i were lucky

enough to have a wonderful mom and caring grandparents to raise us, i felt

his absence. and i wonder what my life would have been like had he been a

greater

presence.从小父亲就不在我的身边。两岁时父亲离开了我们。但是我和妹妹很幸运，母亲和祖父母对我们关怀备至，将我们抚养成人。尽管如此，我仍然觉得父爱缺失。我时常想，如果父亲一直在我们的身边，我的人生可能就会不一样了。

that’s why i’ve tried pretty hard to be a good dad for my

own kids. i haven’t always succeeded, of course ?C in the past, my job has

kept me away from home more than often i would like to, and the burden of

raising two young

girls sometimes would fall too heavily on michelle.

but between my own experiences growing up, and my

ongoing efforts to be the best father i can be, i’ve learned a couple of

things about what our children need most from their parents.

自身成长的经历以及身为人父的经历，让我懂得了很多东西。我一直竭尽全力做到最好，我也懂得孩子们最想从父母那里得到什么。

first and foremost, they need our time. and more important than the

quantity of hours we spend with them is the quality of those hours. maybe it’s

just asking about their day, or taking a walk together, but the smallest moments

can have the biggest impact.

首先，孩子们需要我们花时间陪伴。但陪伴他们的时间质量比时间数量更重要。也许只是日常生活中的简短问候，或是一起散步聊天，但这些最短暂的时光却可以对他们产生最大的影响。

they also need structure, including learning the values of

self-discipline and responsibility. malia and sasha may live in the white

house these days, but michelle and i still make sure they finish their

schoolwork, do their chores, and walk the dog.

and above all, children need our unconditional love ?

whether they succeed or make mistakes; when life is easy and when life is

and life is tough for a lot of americans today.more and more kids grow up

without a father figure. others mia father who’s away serving his country in

uniform. and even for those dads who are present in their children’s lives, the

recession has taken a harsh toll. if you’re out of a job or struggling to pay

the bills, doing whatever it takes to keep

the kids healthy, happy and safe can understandably take precedence over

everything else.

but we also know that every father has a personal

responsibility to do right by our kids as well. all of us can encourage our

children to turn off the video games and pick up a book. all of us can pack a

healthy lunch for our son, or go outside and play ball with our daughter. and

all of us can teach our children the difference between right and wrong, and

show them through our own example the value in treating one another as we wish

to be treated.

our kids are pretty smart. they understand that life won’t always be

perfect, that sometimes, the road gets rough, that even great parents don’t get

everything right.

我们的孩子都很聪明。他们知道生活并不总是那么完美，他们懂得有时候道路会比较坎坷，即便是伟大的父母也不一定每件事都做的对。
