The Duke and Duchess of Susse_ have made their first public appearance as a

married couple since the royal wedding.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who chose to delay their honeymoon to

attend to royal duties, arrived at a garden party in honour of Prince Charles’

70th birthday.

Manchester Arena bombing and the work of the emergency crews.

Prince Harry said: “We’re here today to reflect on and to celebrate my

father’s dedicated support to all of you and the work that you do.

“But first I would like us to take a moment to reflect on the tragic events

at the Manchester Arena a year ago.

“We are fortunate to have over 250 representatives from the emergency

services here today. It is right that we take a moment to recognise the amazing

work they do every day.”

The Prince of Wales' 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration is a way for

Prince Charles to recognise and celebrate public service.

The 70-year-old supports over 420 charities, which raise more than

about a special teacher of mine. this teacher is not a human being and its name

is“computer”. it has been teaching me a lot of knowledge and i appreciate it

including images, graphics, music clips, video clips, animations , texts,

hotwords, and database search functions. fields involved includes physical

sciences, performance arts, social sciences, politics, military, education

and so on. when pressing a button, i can hear american president clinton's

speech clip. i may enjoy playing all kinds of musical instruments in the world.

i can also see the animation of many physical phenomena. this makes physical

concept to be understood deeply. the audio features of multimedia can greatly

help me learning foreign languages. with its speech output capabilities, i'm no

longer dependent on an instructor for proper pronunciation.

how can i interact with a computer? there are many ways, including

keyboard, mouse pointer, and touch screen. i often use a keyboard. when i press

right keys, i can see and hear whatever i want. information world is at my

fingertip. i wish that true speech input-output system would be invented one

day.

as teachers, computers have a lot of virtues： they are positive, they have

good memories and never lose any information stored in them. they have much

knowledge in every field. they can let out all kinds of sounds, and can also

improve the efficiency of our study. for example, if i want to, i can skip some

chapters so that i can study at my own pace.

although computers will never take the place of human teachers, they are

welcomed by more and more learners. computers will continue to evolve(发展)with

the aid of modern technologies. computers are so powerful, helpful and important

My Father

If someone asks me who affects me most in my life, I will definitely tell him or her that the person should be no one else but my father. As a matter of fact, I have been much affected by father's humor, kindness, enterprise, strong will ever since I was a little girl.

Father is well-known for his humor. He always makes use of his wit and humor to relax tense situation at work. He is m humorous that his colleagues and friends all enjoy staying with him. He also uses humor to create a very happy family atmosphere. My mother tends to chatter over little things. Sometimes she talks angrily without any pause. When this happens, father just listens to her without a word. "Why don't you say a word, man?", mother is more angry at father. At this time father would give a cup of tea to mother, then replies: "Why not have tea first, my dear? Just take your time to enjoy it. I'm always your attentive listener." Hearing these words, mother stops talking with her anger gone at once. Such funny scenes often appear between father and mother which makes our family life happy and interesting.

i know what it means to have an absent father, although my circumstances werent

as tough as they are for many young people today. even though my father left us

when i was two years old, and i only knew him from the letters he wrote and the

stories that my family told, i was luckier than most. i grew up in hawaii, and

had two wonderful grandparents from kansas who poured everything they had into

helping my mother raise my sister and me - who worked with her to teach us about

love and respect and the obligations we have to one another. i screwed up more

often than i shouldve, but i got plenty of second chances. and even though we

didnt have a lot

of money, scholarships gave me the opportunity to go to some of the best

schools in the country. a lot of kids dont get these chances today. there is no

margin for error in their lives. so my own story is different in that

father to my girls; that if i could give them anything, i would give them that

rock - that foundation - on which to build their lives. and that would be the

the second thing we need to do as fathers is paalong the value of empathy

to our children. not sympathy, but empathy - the ability to stand in somebody

elses shoes; to look at the world through their eyes. sometimes its so easy to

get caught up in us, that we forget about our obligations to one another. theres

a culture in our society that says remembering these obligations is somehow soft

- that we cant show weakness, and so therefore we cant show

our kids that youre not strong by putting other people down - youre strong by

and by the way - its a responsibility that also extends to washington.

because if fathers are doing their part; if theyre taking our responsibilities

seriously to be there for their

children, and set high expectations for them, and instill in them a sense

of excellence and empathy, then our government should meet them

The love between family members is precious only when we are

大家下午好，今天我演讲的题目是《感恩父爱》

今天，是西方国家的父亲节，后来传入了我们中国，但我们中国是一个善于博采众长的国家，对于这样一个满怀感恩的节日，是应该收到我们的关注与欢迎的。

可是，我们中国人的父亲，大部分与西方国家中的父亲是不一样的。他们给我们爱的方式也是不一样的。

我们感受到的父爱，总是表达在无声处。

抗美援朝战争时期，_的儿子毛岸英为了中朝两国人民的友谊毅然奔赴战场，但不幸牺牲在了朝鲜战场上。听到这个消息，我们伟大的领袖含着泪道：“我的儿子，与全国人民的儿子都一样。都是人民的儿子。为了国家利益而死，那是死得其所。”

那是一对父子故事，儿子换了尿毒症，急需换肾。可是一贫如洗的家实在是拿不出钱来，而且，得病之前的儿子，曾是一个典型的坏少年。为此没少让自己的父亲操心。

当他的病之后，年迈的父亲每天一大早就起床拿着一封求援信，到长沙的各个单位寻求帮助。当记者拍到父亲因为屡次遭人拒绝在风雨中变得苍白的脸旁的时候，我终于忍不住掉下了眼泪，想起了我自己的父亲。

两位新人从今天开始就将开始崭新的生活，我作为养育了程程22年的父亲，我一直觉得她还是个未曾长大的孩子，心中有一万分的依依不舍、一万分的不放心、还有一万分的纠结的心情。但是儿女们终究有一天要独自飞翔、慢慢成长并承担更多的家庭责任和社会责任，我在这里对他们有一些期待话要讲，也祝福他们以后的生活幸福美满。

首先我希望他们在以后的生活中要多一些责任心、感恩的心和宽容心。说到责任心，简单的说就是以后无论在做什么事或做什么决定之前，首先要考虑对家庭、亲人和周围的朋友是否有伤害，如果没有才能付诸行动，这才是审慎的负责任的生活态度。

其次，我希望他们有一颗感恩的心，感恩的心并不仅仅是指最孝顺父母，在这一点上我认为对他们很放心。我期望的是他们能坦然面对所有得失，特别是不要太在意物质上的得失。对所有的人包括亲人以外其他在生活中和事业上帮助过你、磨砺过你甚至无意伤害过你的人，都能报以感恩的心回馈他们。

这次，我更下了决心努力学习，父亲晚上有应酬晚上十一点回到了家，突然有领导打来电话说有事让父亲跟着去我一直坐在沙发上等父亲到了凌晨零点父亲打来电话让我别等他了睡吧，可是父亲回不来我就睡不着，到了凌晨四点我终于忍不住了给父亲打电话，而父亲在那边的回答是：“别等了，我还有事你明天还有课，快睡吧。”而电话这头的我已经哭了。父亲压了电话。到了凌晨六点父亲还是放心不下我，办完事回到了家，父亲看到我睡了就又上班去了。由于我有早自习我早早起来后看见桌上有张纸条上面写着：厨房有豆浆已经热好了，还有烧饼。我看了这张纸条，又一次的哭了。到后来我才知道父亲办完事又给我买了早餐。

我的父亲就是这么一个周到的人。

Hi, everybody. This Sunday is Father’s Day, and so I wanted to take a

moment to talk about the most important job many of us will ever have and that’s

being a dad.

Today we’re blessed to live in a world where technology allows us to

connect instantly with just about anyone on the planet. But no matter how

advanced we get, there will never be a substitute for the love and support and,

most importantly, the presence of a parent in a child’s life. And in many ways,

that’s uniquely true for fathers.

I never really knew my own father. I was raised by a single mom and two

But I still wish I had a dad who was not only around, but involved; another role

model to teach me what my mom did her best to instill – values like hard work

and integrity; responsibility and delayed gratification – all the things that

give a child the foundation to envision a brighter future for themselves.

dance recitals and Malia’s tennis matches –about the conversations we’ve had and

the quiet moments we’ve shared. I’ll be thinking about whether I did right by

them, and whether they knew, every day, just how much they were loved.

我是__班的__，还记得去年这个时候吗，我们依然是像现在这样聚在一起，同学们是否知道最近就是父亲节了呢，大家好多然应该没有注意到，打开日历看看，就知道了，过几天就是父亲节了，我们经常会知道母亲节，但是我们却不少人不知道父亲节，是在什么时候，过今天就是父亲节了，这次站在这里的也是跟大家，讲讲关于父亲的，今年的演讲比赛是那么壮观，大家此刻心情是不是很激动呢，我就是很激动，现在甚至有点紧张，好久没有在这个场面下讲话了，有点不好意思，不多说了，我要演讲的题目是“感恩父爱”。

父亲是我们人生的保护伞，也是家里的顶梁柱，我一直认为父亲家里最厉害的，从小就这么感觉，现在我还是这么感觉，父亲一直陪着我们成长，一直在我们身边扮演这一个守护的形象，这么多年来一直都是，其实父亲对我们的爱是很浓重的，是不容易发现的，我时常能够清晰的感受到来自母亲的关怀，母亲对我们的爱很明显，但是父亲对我们的爱一般不容易发现，如果说母亲的爱是伟大的，那么父亲的爱就是容易发现的伟大，但是一直在我们的身边，一直都在。

我一直以来的印象父亲就是严厉的形象，父亲一直对我很严格，现在依然也是，但是我有时候也能发现父亲的温柔，一直以来父亲的严厉形象刻画在我心里，对于父亲有时候突如其来的温柔我真的很不适应，但是真的那种感觉是从来没有过的，从来没有过的感动，真的无限的美好。

也就是发生在前段时间吧，我跟跟朋友出去玩，我们是去爬山的，在农村山多，我们平时也就喜欢在山里玩，农村长大的孩子都是这样，我们几个小伙伴在一起，我们到了山上，我经常喜欢在山上奔跑，我喜欢那种状态，喜欢那种感觉，就是由于在山上跑的时候我的脚被扭到了，当时就是不能走了，很痛，当时感觉真倒霉，从来没有扭过脚的我，今天栽了。

伙伴们看到我脚扭了就扶我回到家，当时爸爸也在家，就问我怎么了，我交代了事情，父亲当时很不以为然，还批评了我，说我太不小心了，表情严肃，但是他一边说着这些教训我的话，一边在家里找药，看上去不担心其实心理也急，当时我就看出来了，找到了药水就让我坐在椅子上父亲亲自给我上药，给我揉我的脚，我当时感觉很不习惯，这样子从来没有过，我看出来了，父亲还是担心我的，很感动。

其实我想说的就是父亲对我们爱，也是浓厚的，只是作为一个男人，父亲不轻易的流露出来而已，但是父亲的爱一直都在，一直在我身边，有时候也会被我们发现。
